With this in mind, Watsons Malaysia has joined forces with GSK and Hospis Malaysia to feature Quality Ramadan as part of their CSR campaign. Watsons has collaborated with Media Prima, Tv3 on their crowd pleasing Raya Ni Dah Kahwin drama series for the second time.
The campaign doesn’t even end there, as they have exciting range of products featured at the Watson’s Raya sale this year. Watsons has a palliative care movement, where Watsons Malaysia and GSK will donate funds to Hospis Malaysia, a charitable organization providing professional palliative care services for patients and families affected by life-limiting illness. And basically, for every Panadol or Panaflex you purchase at Watsons stores, 10 sen will be donated to Hospis Malaysia.
We had the General Manager of Trading of Watsons Malaysia, Caryn Loh at Raya Bersama Watsons launch event, where shes said ‘ Watsons Malaysia is spearheading various initiatives to help empower the community where we live. Through this initiative , we aim to support Hospis Malaysias endeavor to improve palliative care services in the country.” Very well said to such a generous action taken by Watsons.
We also had renowned singer, actor and Champion of Masterchef Dato’ Fazley Yaakob to demonstrate how families can bond together through quality food. So, in conjunction to Raya, Watsons Malaysia has decided to feature special recipes for Hari Raya and a Raya CD from Dato’ Fazley Yaakob which are available on Watsons Online Store, and 10 sens will also be donated to Hospis Malaysia with every purchase of Raya Cookies or the Raya CD from Watsons stores.
In 2014, Raya Ni Mesti Kahwin drama series was a success and it touched over 1.5 million viewers across Malaysia which is insane! And with such an amazing amount of support, this year, they have decided to have Raya Ni Dah Kahwin to further touch more viewers to follow the exciting moments with Nina and Amar as they enter their married life in the show.
At the launch event, lead actors of Raya Ni Dah Kahwin, Nina Iskandar and Amar Asyraf were present to share their involvement in this exciting campaign with Watsons. In this new season, Nina’s charater, Nana is a Watsons Store Manage who is juggling between work and being a wife to Amar’s character. So be sure to expect a lot of comedy scenes that is happening in Watsons store.
Watsons Malaysia is definitely prepared with so many exciting campaigns this Raya from contributing back to society, to a continuation of a drama series, and selling Raya recipe’s and CD!
