[REVIEW] Lips cant be as sweet without SUGAR LIPS

The Sugar Lips by Water Colour
Introducing to you the Mentholatum's Brand New Sugar Lip Coloured Lipbalms! With the weather getting hotter, getting the right lip balm is necessary to avoid chapped lips. I personally find it boring that lip balms are usually colourless and some balms really make my lips feel uncomfortable. *boohoo* So, I'm actually really excited to find out more about the Sugar Lip by Water Colour Lip balms!

Shade 01 Vintage Pink
Shade 03 Kissy Pink
The all new Sugar Lip Lipbalms proudly introduces their new formulation featuring a unique brown sugar recipe which works to nourish and smoothen lips. FUNFACT: Did you know that brown sugar is naturally humectant that seals in moisture and keeps the lips feeling hydrated? But honestly, I'm more excited to know whether it taste like sugar. hehe. I got hold to these two really pretty shades namely 01 Vintage Pink and 03 Kissy Pink.

Some fine print details
And as usual, I like reading the fine details on the packaging, just because I want to know what I'm buying. Apart from a new brown sugar formulation, the Sugar Lip lip balm is enriched with effective moisturizing ingredients such as super hyaluronic acid, ceramide and maxilip to provide long lasting moisture and ensuring soft supple lips throughout the day. I've been using tons of face mask containing hyaluronic acid, but I never knew that they could be incorporated in lip balm too! So, I have to say that THATS a major plus point.

Swatches of 01 Vintage Pink and 03 Kissy Pink
Since being all natural happens to be a trend right now, Mentholatum has decided to spice things up by creating the Sugar Lip lip balm to achieve rosy pink natural lips with just one swipe. Upon doing the swatch test, I realized that the texture was really moist and wasn't sticky as I thought it would be. On casual days, I believe that the Sugar Lip lip balm would be a great lip balm to bring around in your handbag since it moisturises and slightly tints the lip with a pinkish shade.

Standard design
Expiry Dates available
It doesn't really matter what shade you pick, as it comes in a standard packaging which is in black with a small label which says 'Sugar Lip'. A minimalist design, but i have to give credits to the fact that they include expiry dates on their lip balms! I tend to forget how long I've been using my makeup products, so this would be a great reminder to myself to know when to stop using. (But I doubt that I'll be using this until 2018 since I'm most likely bringing this balm everywhere with me) hehe.

VERDICT?

And Mua going all natural with 01 Vintage Pink
As a verdict, I have to say that this would be my latest must have lip balms in my collection. Been using it for about a week now, and I love how it feels on my lips. Non-sticky, non-greasy and surprisingly, if you lick your lips, there's a slight taste of sugary sweet goodness! hehe. Available in four soft shades of pink which are 01 Vintage Pink, 02 Dancing Pink, 03 Kissy Pink and 04 Rock n Pink. At a price of RM15.80 each, I would say that it's reasonably priced, and definitely affordable too!

01 Vintage Pink and 02 Dancing Pink
03 Kissy Pink and 04 Rock n Pink
Available at all leading pharmacies and major supermarkets, so if you have chapped lips, this would be the solution to get perfectly unchapped lips! So what's your favourite shade? If you have any stories to share about chapped dry lips, and you solutions to solve them, do leave me a comment below as i would love to know more about your experiences as well :)
