Fiziwoo Raya 2015 Collection // MOROCCO

Today marks the first day of Puasa, and I'm pretty sure most of us would be looking forward to our Baju Raya for the upcoming celebration. And i think i know why you're here, to check out the exclusive designs by Fizi Woo! And let me tell you this, there is no regrets to admiring his design because they will definitely make head turns with these statement pieces. 

For this Raya, Fizi Woo has came up with stunning pieces to make sure you look on point during the festive season with a slight touch of the ever mystical small paradise, Morocco as his design inspiration. And with Morocco as his inspiration, I'm sure we all know that Morocco has a rich history in unique culture from fashion, architecture to the culture itself. With the strong Moorish architecture present in Morocco, it has strengthen the existence of Islam in the region further relating it to the beliefs of the Muslims in Malaysia. And with this opportunity, Fizi Woo has successfully reinterpreted its style into the Morocco FiziWoo Raya 2015 Collection.

Here's a glimpse of the architecture of Ben Youssef Madrasa which was an Islamic college in Marrakesh Morocco , just to further explain on the concept that Fizi Woo influenced by the colourful tapestries and detailing. From the image itself, we can say that it gives you a sense of wonders and majestic which also translates back to Fizi Woo's amazing collection.

Now the moment of truth, the Morocco FiziWoo Raya 2015 Collection brings unforeseen play of fashion for traditional baju kurung. The designers atypical nature brought its identity of fabric manipulation in Fiziwoo Raya 2015 Collection. Expect the unexpected as ruffles and peplums are alongside with Fiziwoo's signature cut lines and voluminous shapes which are present in this collection. They definitely pushed the limit alright into bringing something unforgettable for this years Raya.

Beautifully done and a great job to Fizi Woo and his team for coming up with these amazing pieces for the upcoming Raya. And like i said, it would definitely make head turns when you walk into an open house for this upcoming Raya. If you ask me, my favourite pieces would be this one. Elegant yet bold at the same time. Impressive work Fizi Woo.

M Cafe is in with the Ramadan Season

The M Cafe by Meesha Sukira

Fasting month is just around the corner and if you're wondering where can you dine in to break your fast during this festive season, you can check out  M Cafe by Meesha Sukira for unique Malaysian delicacies. M Cafe is a cozy dining place where you can enjoy delicious local homemade dishes with your friends and family and what makes M Cafe special is that they serve recipes from the palace to ensure that you dine feeling like royalty. And since i've been there myself, i couldn't agree more! Because the food there is simply not your usual recipe of Malaysian dishes.

Meesha Sukira has initially been around in Malaysia, producing glamourous Batik fashion to introduce Malaysian culture to the world and they are currently exporting Batiks to places like the Middle East, Hong Kong, Japan and more! How cool is that?! If you have foreign friends coming over, give them a Malaysian treat by bringing them here to enjoy our local Malaysian food + the chance to enjoy Batik decorations around the cafe too.

M Cafe officially started its business in 2013 by 2 owners which are also the owners of Meesha Sukira Batiks. It took them awhile to establish Meesha Sukira and now further expanding their business by diversifying the business and venturing into the F&B industry by merging a Batik boutique with the cafe. And of course, living in a world filled with technology, its really hard to find premium and authentic Batik around.

The value of M Cafe carries cultural heritage food and fashion to the youth. Besides that, this movement also enables them to engage with the public in general spreading awareness of  the beauty of our forgotten Batik culture. Managed to try some of their dishes and it satisfies my tummy and my tastebuds pretty well. *Yums* Talking about food got me hungry. lol. So here are some photos of the dishes that i had which i found unique.

Sambal Fish Apple Salad

 The Sambal Fish Apple Salad is available on their Ala Carte menu and as spicy as it looks, its actually not that spicy when you eat it with the apple's. FISH AND APPLES?! i know what you're thinking. Rather bizarre but to be honest, its a must try if you're feeling adventures.

Hainanese Chicken Chop

The Hainanese Chicken Chop was done nicely because it wasn't overcooked and it has a juicy cut in the middle when you're cutting your chicken into bite sized pieces. So, chicken chop lovers, do try this at M Cafe.

Fried Chicken Salted Egg

THIS IS IT! The Fried Chicken Salted Egg is my ultimate favourite at M Cafe . Its also their signature dish mentioned by the manager as they had returning customers ordering the Fried Chicken Salted Egg, and i definitely know why.

So here's  your chance to try their dishes cause instead of ordering everything on their menu, they'll be having a promotional ramadan buffet during this festive month! Hoorah! Now you can try more than one dish on your first of returning visit to M Cafe. Listed below would be the Ramadan menu which will be served during the festive season.

And of course, their durian ice cream would be handmade for their customers to enjoy the real taste of durian ice cream. So do give them a call before dropping by to ensure that your visit will be fully maximised with yummy seasonal ice cream which will only be serve within the Ramadan month.

 Not only that they're a cafe, so maybe after your meal, maybe you can check out their handmade batik to prepare you Baju Raya for the Raya celebration! So talk about killing two birds with one stone. I've personally found their batik collection very interesting as the designs are never the same according to the manager. All are exclusively made by  Meesha Sukira at their man factory in Batu Caves. 

So do drop by M Cafe for an exclusive dine in with magnificent Batik decoration to enjoy while you're there. Felt like i was dining in a gallery while i was there. Teehee. And of course, if you're looking forward to try their ala carte menu, here are the 3 signature dishes that would be a must try at M Cafe:

Raysha Perfumes EDP [REVIEW]

Some of you were wondering what scent I'm wearing lately and it was close enough to most of you thinking that it was Body Shop, but here's what it was really is.

I present to you, Raysha Perfumes! 

Raysha Perfumes, Roll On Perfume 3x5ml

Well, Raysha Perfumes has a variety of packagings of perfume bottles to choose from, either the 3 x 5ml in one box, or the 15ml in one box. Since I'm more of an outgoing person and i tend to get easily bored with just one scent, i decided to take the 3 x 5ml to have a variety a scents to choose from depending on my mood for the day :)

There are a variety of scents to choose from to be honest, and picking only 3 was really hard, but since I'm an all time favourite to Vanilla, i decided to take 2 Vanilla by The Body Shop and 1 White Musk by The Body Shop. Don't ask me why, i just felt like with inspired Body Shop scents, nothing can go wrong right? :p

You can actually pick your own scent, and here are my picks.

But of course, if you insist me on listing down the other scents that you can choose from, let me list it down for you:

Told you it was a lot! So yeap, i decided to get the Vanilla by The Body Shop for my everyday scent and the White Musk by The Body Shop for my evening scent. 

This bottle travelled to Seoul, Korea with me.

If you've been keeping up with my Instagram, I'm pretty sure you are aware that i went to Seoul Korea for a short break. And of course i always had issues on bringing perfume on board, especially when I'm bringing the big full bottles, and it spills in my bag during the flight. (CRIES!) But with Raysha Perfumes, i can just leave it in my handbag and no security would stop me. *flips hair*

Its as tiny as my nose. haha

THE REVIEW 

Since its a roll on, its so convenient to apply it to my wrist. The box says it would last for around 24 hours, but with my daily outdoor routine, i would say it last around 6 hours if you've been out in the sun all day. And to Muslimahs, fret not, because this EDP is special. Its Halal and yes, its a non-alcoholic perfume which is suitable to be brought to prayers, so you don't have to worry about having alcohol on your body if its a concern. But of course, it would be slightly oily compare to the normal alcoholic perfume since theres no alcohol to evaporate. 

PRICE

The price is RM32 including postage for 3 bottles of 5ml roll on perfumes, which means its actually less than RM10 per bottle. And I've been using 1 bottle now which is still half full. If you're a frequent user like me, i rolled everyday twice on my wrist, i would roughly last you 3 to 4 weeks, and thats for 1 bottle. So yes, i would say that its definitely affordable! 

SIZE

The only reason why i have it in my handbag, because its small, convenient and just easy to bring around, anytime, anywhere! Doesn't even add weight to my handbag. And also, we don't need to worry about it spilling in the bag since it comes with a cap ;)

SCENT

Vanilla by The Body Shop;

 smells sweet just like vanilla and it has this very strong scent. Inspired by a sunny day on the tropical island of Madagascar, warm, sensual and features of floral and oriental notes. Contains top notes of anise and bergamot, heart notes of frangipani flowers and base notes of vanilla amber. Whats there not to love? 

White Musk by The Body Shop;

Of course, a musky smell which smells very elegant. A soft and velvety signature scent for every woman, proven to last you the whole day! WARNING, if you over use the perfume, it would definitely attract attention.

Hiatus
