The HerbaLine Spa Party // Mama Kim

At the entrance of HerbaLine
Hello, readers, I'm proud to announce to you that I'm done with my final paper for my MBA! Now to keep my fingers crossed on passing on my grades. And I can't thank Herbaline enough for hosting a spa-party for bloggers to enjoy and discover the new concepts of Herbaline's newest branch located in Puchong. Just the perfect time to reward myself with some self pampering after my examinations. Since good things are meant to be shared, I really cant wait to share with you this secret hideout located in Puchong.

The walkway to the secret retreat
Upon arrival, its always nice to see smiling faces around you, giving you a warm welcome to Herbaline. I was greeted more than 5 times thats for sure and i have to say that i felt very much welcomed by their friendly staffs. The venue was really spacious and next to the Herbaline centre is the Mama Kim Restaurant which is apparently well known for healthy recipe's that taste amazing!

Just soaking my feet in sea salt
Their special Sea Salt
As i enter the secret passage to this sanctuary, i was told to give my feet a soak in warm water with their special salt to kill bacteria. Even though it was just 5 minutes of my time, plus the sea salt content while soaking my feet, i felt like my feet felt really refreshed and cooling after the session. Not that i know why, but i have to say that i was amazed with what 5 minutes can do.

The Sea Salt room!
Fits 3 people per session
After the feet soaking session, i was then brought to check out this room filled with sea salt almost all over the room. It felt like i was a kid again upon entering this room with only 3 seats in it. I was told that the seasalt is suppose to encourage blood circulation while it relaxes the muscles of your feet through traditional chinese beliefs. Not that im too sure on how that works, but i do see results. Once i was satisfied with my seasalt treat, i was then brought to another room to rinse my feet off. I admit that i was amazed that event the room to wash your feet was impressive!

The Japanese shower room
The changing room
They even had a shower room with a Japanese concept for those who would want to freshen up after a long day of the hustle and bustle life of the city. And once you're done showering they will bring you to your changing room to change into something more comfortable. You will then be lead to your locker to maybe lock your personal belongings and proceed to get your massage or facial done.

Aromatherapy
Before every facial, you will be treated with an aromatherapy where you will be required to inhale through your nose, and exhale through your mount for 3 times. And this was an amazing moment to really relax, cause the scent was absolutely relaxing. Once you have inhaled the aroma, you will then be lead to the facial rooms located upstairs.

The Facial Room
The Massage room
The hall way on the 2nd floor
They have about 10 individual facial rooms and 2 couple rooms so if you ever decide to drop by, they can take in about 12 people at a time, but of course, it would be advisable to call before coming as i won't blame them for having people dropping by almost every hour for their signature facial massages. I love how clean the rooms are, and the fact that theres a welcome tray that has a comb, and hair net to keep your hair in place.

Aromatheraphy station
Hand and back massage anyone?
They have their own products too!
Once you are done with your facial, you will then be brought back to the second aromatherapy station to revitalize  yourself again after the facial. You will also have a choice to want to soak your feet in fish therapy where they will eat your dead skin cells away, but i'll warn you that to some, it may be a little ticklish. hehe. But since it was a bloggers event kind of preview, i opted for the back and hand massage instead. And boy, they are really good with picking the right points.

Off to Mama Kim!
The concept of Mama Kim
If you think the spa party ends there, it doesn't! We were then brought over next door to check out Mama Kim to see what the restaurant has to offer. As an appetizer, we had salad that tasted fruity and followed by the main dish of the day 'sauna mee'. The name of the sauna mee may be a little odd, but once you see the dish coming, you will pretty much get why its called the sauna mee. Served in a hot stone pot, the staff will pour the soup in for you and  your dish will practically create steam once the soup is poured in. The aroma was rather appetizing, cause im telling you to not judge on how it looks. It may look like a plain bowl of soup and noodles, but you'd be surprised to find out that this dish is filled with flavours!

Their special dish, sauna mee
With my babes, Miriam, and Tara
And mua after a long day of exams.
Loving the hot stone pot.
So there you have it, Herbaline's 28th branch located in Puchong. I have to admit that the jam was rather bad from PJ if youre heading to Puchong after 6pm, so i would still advise you to go when its during non-peak hours for a more comfortable journey. So what are you waiting for? Book a slot today and experience what i experienced for yourself, and trust me, you'll be back for more. hehe. Thanks for reading my blog post, and if youre looking for more information and updates on Herbaline promotions, be sure to head on over to their website at http://www.herbaline.com.my.

[REVIEW] Mary Sharon's Miracle Spa Deep Cleansing Mask

The packaging of MarySharon's Miracle Spa Deep Cleansing Mask.
Hello fellow readers,

I was truly excited when I heard about the latest brand of Mary Sharon, which is currently being introduced to the Malaysian market, flown all the way from Hong Kong. And let me tell you a thing or two, that I’ve never heard of a sleeping mask before.

What is this sleeping mask exactly? Well, its as obvious as it is, a mask which you can sleep with! Personally I find it a hassle to time myself on how long the mask has been on my face. But ever since I found out that Mary Sharon’s Sleeping mask, can be worn when youre sleeping, which sums up to pampering time has never been so convenient!

If its your first time hearing about Mary Sharon, well, Mary Sharon is a brand which has recently gained a high popularity recently and it has been raved that the Mary Sharon Sleeping Mask sells about 10 bottles per minute worldwide! That is insane! And after reading a few reviews online, I decided to give it a go myself.

Every packaging come with a lid for hygiene reasons.
After thoroughly going through some background research on Mary Sharon, I found out that Mary Sharon emphasizes on the importance of water as the life force of nature, and at the same time maintains the balance of the skin to be soft, with radiant main elements. The secret ingredient to this sleeping mask would be its exclusive golden seaweed essence moisturizing ingredient, which effectively gives you a moisturizing boost and locks water deep into the skin.

Some details on the ingredients and the product by Mary Sharon.
Being an outdoor person myself, these would be the exact nutrients that my skin needs! Its definitely great for dry skin, but if you have between a normal or combination skin, then this works great because it helps to balance oily skin and improve dull complexion while restoring skin vitality. So much benefits in one bottle.

Packaging wise, well, I’d say they did a great job into making the package look good. Very classy when placed in my bathroom shelf. Haha. But with such an expensive appearance, its actually not that bad. The product cost is only RM129 for 110g, which is actually a fair price! But this does not come with a spatula sadly, therefore you might need to get your own spatula to maintain clean content of your Mary Sharon Sleeping Mask.

Trying out the texture of the cream.
The texture is pretty thick, smooth and creamy all in one go. And initially I was very much worried if it might be too heavy on the skin as Im not a fan of feeling like theres a layer of glue on my face. To my surprise, it wasn’t heavy at all! Very lightweight and it doesn’t leave a greasy feel to my skin, despite how heavy it looks. Amazed

Some directions on application.
I was also observing on the methods on application since it was stated on the box, and it stated that there are 3 recommended methods of using this mask. Versatile much don’t you think so? For your convenience, so that you don’t have to squint your eyes, I’ll just retype what the box says by listing it down here:

Method 1:
After cleansing, apply a thick layer for 15 minutes and rinse off.

Method 2:
Leave a thin layer overnight and wash off in the morning

Method 3:
Apply a thin layer and wash off after 5 minutes before make up.

Among the 3 methods, my personal favorite method of applying it would be method 2 as I love the supple feeling of waking up to a more radiant skin after washing the layer off. Very refreshing and it does secretly make me feel more confident to start my day with such a dewy glow in the morning. But of course, if you’re a fan of make up, then method 3 might do wonders to you as it preps the skin a layer of moisture, which would hold the make up better to last you the entire day!

Applying it before sleeping.
After applying the thin layer to leave on overnight.
An overall of what I think about the mask, it really does wonders compared to American brands I’ve previously used on my face. Im assuming since its Asian, its more suited for Asian skin to ensure you achieve a softer, plumper, firmer, glowing skin. What do you think? Does my skin glows brighter with a more even complexion?

Next morning, you can see that the thickness of the mask is thinner.
After washing off the mask, it definitely makes your face glow in the morning.
Im currently using this twice a week in hopes of further improvements on my skin to ensure it gets enough nutrients to further moisture and even my skin complexion. Here’s a verdict of the product:

It moisturises, whitens, brightens and calms the skin. Regular use is necessary for better results. Skin absorbs the nutrients from the mask very well, and doesn’t leave any greasy texture on face. Very classy packaging, with different ways of application.

If you think you skin needs some pampering, (which of course it does) better get your pack of Mary Sharon Spa Sleeping Mask! Do share with me your throughts or enquiries by leaving some comments below.

CO2 Spa Treatment at Daisuke Salon De Coiffure [REVIEW]

The main entrance to Daisuke Salon De Coiffure.
Hey there readers!

Is it just me or the weather it getting pretty confused lately? With the sudden rain and trenching hot sun we have right here in Malaysia, its always important to keep our scalp protected. Being the most exposed part to the sun, how do we pamper our scalp after trying so hard to bare the direct sun? Well, i guess thats why you're here! To find out whats this CO2 Spa treatment like. Let me just share you my experience at Daisuke Salon De Coiffure.

Interior impression shot.

Private rooms for customers who prefers a private room.
From the photos above, you can tell that this isn't any ordinary Salon. It was very clean, spacious and i just simply loved whole theme of it. It felt like a retreat to the free and easy life of the world, compared to the ever busy salon's who are constantly rushing to complete serving each customer in a short period of time. This felt very at home to be honest. The employee's at the shop greeted me in a very friendly tone and the minute i stepped into the salon, i was served with a welcoming Japanese brown rice tea! And to ladies who wears scarfs, they actually took consideration to have a private room for you to be served at in order of respect. How cool is that?

My Japanese brown tea, served hot.
The cool decorations that caught my attention.
More decorations on the wall.
How the decorations look to compliment the environment.
this is me getting excited over my CO2 Spa Treatment.
And of course, from my face, i guess you could tell how excited i was to get my first ever CO2 Spa treatment done at Daisuke Salon De Coiffure. But of course, I'm sure we all are curious about whats the difference between a normal hair wash and a CO2 Spa treatment wash? And guess what, i have the answers cause they had lovely employee's who were kind enough to explain it to me and who are able to find me the right answers to my questions.

So, from the photos above, i think it pretty much explains everything that you need to know in an overall, but since you're still reading, i'll explain it in my way so that you can enjoy reading whatever i write here. Hehe. Anyway, the CO2 Spa Treatment would be charged at only RM28 which i think the price is really reasonable. And the difference between a normal hair wash and a CO2 spa treatment, is that the CO2 spa treatment removes and literally cleans all the smell and chemicals away from your hair instantly!

CO2 Spa Treatment benefits :
- New Hair & Scalp care treatment imported from Japan
- Natural ingredients with cutting edge technology
- Cleans and heals the scalp naturally from within
- Improves softness, volume and lustre of your hair
- Utilises Carbon Dioxide (CO2) as the main fundamental ingredients
- Enhances the blood flow to your scalp

The Soda Spa Foam imported all the way from Japan
BEFORE: Oil and Dirt without using Soda Spa Foam during the CO2 wash.
AFTER: The result after using Soda Spa Foam with CO2 wash.
As disgusting as it looks, i think it explains the results on what the CO2 Spa treatment does. It literally removes the oil, the dirt and also dead skin from your head. I was also told that it reduces dandruff if you have dandruff issues on your head.

The special feature of the CO2 Spa Treatment is that they use a special machine that changes water to CO2 which is used to wash and rinse your hair during the spa treatment. The Soda Spa Foam was applied after shampooing and was left for about 5 minutes before rinsing everything off. The CO2 treatment felt like it was fizzy during the wash but it was very VERY relaxing because the pressure felt just right.

THE OVERALL PROCEDURE:
1. Hair was shampoo'ed for about 10 minutes including a head massage
2. Shampoo was rinsed with normal water
3. Double rinsed with CO2 water
4. The Soda Spa Foam was generously applied on head
5. 5 minutes to let the Soda Spa Foam to do its magic
6. Rinsed off with CO2 water
7. Blow-Dry.

DID YOU KNOW?
Did you also know that the Japanese truly enjoys CO2 treatments? Because the results of CO2 treatments would be that it  deep cleanses to reduce scalp itchiness, eradicates harmful chemicals, optimises the results of hair colour and perming and also widens blood capillaries to boost and improve blood circulation.

Meet Wen, my hairstylist of the day :)
And the final outcome thanks to Wen right here for getting me all dolled up to start my day. The session roughly took me an hour and after the treatment, i would say that my feels so much lighter. Thank you Wen for getting me all ready for the day and also, i can't wait to see you soon! Im in the mids of my finals, therefore I'm struggling with time at the moment to pay a visit. Cant wait for my second visit to this salon!

Other products that are imported from Japan.

And with such an amazing product, i brought one can of the Soda Spa Foam home to try it on my face as well. Cant wait to give a review on that and i'll let you all know the results after i've tried it out. Wen, my hair-stylist of the day, was kind enough to explain to me on how to use the Soda Spa Foam not more than twice a week on my hair and face, as it really does the job which does not require me to use everyday. THANKS FOR THE TIP WEN :)
