The Body Shop App is now available!

Hey guys, again, im here to share to you about the good things in life. After all, good things are meant to be shared right? As the tittle says, The Body Shop now has an app and for a limited period of time, if you download the app (like pronto!) you can get a free gift and a discount instantly when you visit any 'The Body Shop' Store! How? Well i'll let you know how at the end of the post after i tell you a few reasons why to download the app. Hehe

Other than pampering us with body soaps and skincare's, The Body Shop has stepped up their game by introducing the body shop mobile app to make shopping even more convenient! When i say convenient, i really mean with just a few clicks, your The Body Shop parcel could already be ready for packing and on the way to your house in no time. As a shoppaholic myself, i admit that shopping can be VERY addictive when theres a user friendly app. #guiltyascharged

Create An Account

Once you've downloded the The Body Shop App, you may need to fill in a sign up form for an account. BUT NOT TO WORRY! Its an easy sign up form with less nonsense to fill up, as we all know we hate the amount of time we spend on signing up alone. You may be required to fill in your IC Number, Phone number and email address and youre good to go! I love how fast it is to create an account, especially when its easy and fast!

Also from the graphic attached above, you can see some of the things that you can do with the app. But my utmost favourite of all would be the Love Your Body Membership perks. If you've previously been a member with The Body Shop, you may find it hard to keep up with your spendings and expiry date as all data is only available on the system. With the app, you can now check your points, check on your available vouchers and also keep yourself updated with the membership expiry date! How cool is that?! But if youre not a member, to be a member, all you need to do is spend a minimum of RM100 and you're already eligible to sign up as an LYB member.

In-App Offers

Upon installation of the app, i think the first thing anyone would check out would be the 'Whats on Offer' browser, cause as Malaysians, its all about steal deals and offers that money cant buy. HAHA. So, within the offer list, i see that you can redeem free samples, 50% off on selected items, free gift wrapping  and much much more irresistible deals! If you love buying gifts for family or for yourself, the app is a perfect way to save you some extra bucks when shopping. What do you have to lose anyway? PSSST! The hottest offer at the moment would be the 20% discount to All customers who purchase more than RM130 when redeeming for your free gift! (Perfect time to do some chrismassy shopping). *Offer mentioned valid between 15th - 23rd December 2016

Redeem your FREE GIFT

And for the moment you have been waiting for, how to redeem your first free gift upon signing up? At the home page, of the app, you'll see an option tab on the top left, click it  and select My Membership Vouchers. And if you've just recently downloaded the app, your free gift would be there! All you need to do is show your voucher in-stores and you'll get a 60ml shower gel (worth RM17.90) for free, with no purchase required. So if you love free stuff, this is your calling! I also warn you that the Free Gift will be based on *while stock last* conditions, which also means the early bird catches the worm! Note: offer is only valid until 31st December 2016, or while stock last.

What are you waiting for? Download the app now now now and redeem your free shower gel like pronto! The promotions are exclusive and only available through the app, which is equivalent to the 'special treatment' of offers that are exclusive for The Body Shop app users! For more information, you can check out thebodyshop.com.my/apps. To make it convenient for you, you can click the link below to download the app through Google Play or Apple Store xx

FTalent // providing free acting classes

The official invite of the day.
The venue: APW Bangsar
What is this FTalent all about you may ask? Well, I'm thankful to be invited to witness what it actually is, thanks to Bob for having me at such a playful event at one of the FTalent series. From what i've been told, FTalent is where the arts and business meets, which means you don't even have to have an acting background to join! In short, it generally means that FTalent communities would learn that acting techniques can improve communication skills as well.

Bob Morshidi, Head of CODE School, taking over the mike, while breaking the ice.
The event started off with some fun activities where Bob Morshidi, the head of CODE school, decided to break the ice a little with guest who were coming over for the first time. And even i was in the scene, managed to make new friends too! Nothing to lose there. The activity was to start a story and your partner continues the story using the words yes followed by yourself saying yes too. Really challenged my creativity there, but it was a fun exercise!

Some attendees who were going through activities of story telling.
Bob Morshidi taking the mike who was happy to get the energy rising in the room.
So thats lesson number one to start the class, and Bob really did a great job getting the room filled with positive energy and hype to start off with. And since everyone was all pumped up for the next session, we had Razif Hashim, the founder of CODE school to further explain to attendee's whats FTalent is all about.

Razif Hashim the founder of CODE school, explaining more on FTalent
He has successfully developed a series of acting programs which provides an introduction of what a typical Thespian would learn during their years of training. And he aims to create scenarios that are related on how corporates should communicate during presentations and sales pitches (Pitches, you should really try FTalent out to improve on your pitching skills). Razif also believes that FTalent is suppose to dissipate the idea that an entertainer requires 'talent' in order to succeed in the industry,  through learning the right techniques

Jojo Struys supporting the arts industry, sharing her experience on how acting has built her confidence.
We also had Jojo Struys who shared her thoughts on how has acting built her confidence to build her business, Kyanite TV. I had a chat with the amazing Jojo Struys who was very excited to also share her new show called Jojo's Diary of Asia which you can catch it every Monday at 8pm, on TLC. Read all about her behind the scene stories here if you're interested to read about it! Link: http://alizasara.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-backstage-journey-in-making-of-jojos.html

Mr Ee Soon Wei, the founder of APW Bangsar, supporting the arts industry as well.
Even the founder of the venue host, Mr Ee Soon Wei, the founder of APW Bangsar had a say to support the arts, where he said "As a strong supported of the arts, I believe that FTalent is a great program because it invites the local community from various backgrounds to have an introduction on acting and performing for free". And i have to agree with what he said, FTalent is amazing to be giving a chance to experience the world of performing arts for free.

Razif conducting a session.
Thats me in the scene too!
Some active movements happening during the class.
From the photos above, here we have Razif Hashim conducting a simple class to emphasise on the control of movement that you can achieve. From simple walking to a faster pace of making sure attendees fill up an empty space, it was amazing how in such a fast moving environment, we were able to avoid from bumping into anyone! (EXEPT for one or two people of course) Teehee.

Razif Hashim shared about the latest app, Tablework.
"As a trained actor, I often found it difficult to develop notes for my character on paper. On top of that I had to use various platforms to communicate with my cast members. But now with Tablework, I can upload my script, copy links on the internet and share my notes and discuss with my cast members about scenes we need to work on." says Razif Hashim who is also the founder of Tablework.

Tablework is built for actors, by actors.
The Vision, Mission and Definition.
ALSO, theres a new app launch called Tablework which will assist actors in improving their role during performance. The app functions as a character management tool for actors to prepare for their role during their performance. So why not give it a go, as Tablework is free to try up to three characters and has a paid monthly fee for those who wish to use more. So do check it out if you're into the world of performing arts as this might be the future of of educating techniques and you're one of the first few to discover Tablework! For more information on Tablework, do head over to think link here, http://www.tablework.com.

The deliciously rich milky vanilla ice cream wrapped with a layer of irresistible chocolate. Of course, they've launched tons of variety of other premiums flavours and smaller sized mini's for those with smaller appetites.

Don't they just look amazing?! Common, you have to agree with me on this. And from the photos above, you know what to expect to serve your cravings. The interior is a definite heavenly to match the whole I'm in heaven filled with chocolate scene. haha

The star item in Magnum Cafe's menu that gets people going crazy about would be the Make my Magnum (MMM) item. MMM allows patrons to DIY their own Magnum ice cream complete with coating, topping, and drizzling. *DROOLS* It could end up with your very own version of an epic perfect luscious dessert that you've been dying to have.

The good news is that you'll probably be able to have the experience as well as they'll be having a promotion where when you're the first 500, you get a free customised Make a Magnum ice cream. And on top of that, more surprises! So what are you waiting for?! They open at 10, so be there early to be sure you're the first 500 in line.

They'll be launching their first cafe in Mid Valley Megamall and they have confirmed the opening of a Magnum Cafe in Malaysia via FB and not to forget a photo to tempt everyone in the mall. If you missed the photo, heres a photo of the store in renovation:

Photo taken from here.
It will be located in Mid Valley Megamall, 3rd floor, not too far away form Golden Screen Cinema's. So don't forget, its opening on friday, 14th November 2014. Cant wait!

Hope you found this informative.

Goodluck with hunting for  your free MMM.

Delicious love,
Aliza Sara
