Hello again, and this time im back to share to you about how to get your custom designs done from Printcious. If you heard about Printcious, you can always refer back to my 'valanetines day with printcious' post to get a brief introduction on their services. And in this post, i'll be bringing you through my shopping experience of purchasing something for myself. Woohoo!
Steps to start creating
As you enter the site, you will notice a create button on the top left, followed by categories to choose from. Printcious provides services to custom your own tshirt, mug, cushions, phone cases, ceramic tiles, puzzles, mouse pads and mini tees! In my case right here, i decided to choose to make a custom cushion.
Click the customise it button.
Once you click the cushion tab, it will bring you to another page showing various options on what you want to do. If you're not interested in buying yourself a no print pillow, you can follow the steps on i did by clicking the customise it button.
Editing page.
When you click the customised it button, it will bring you to another window showing you exactly what you see in the above picture. You have your own options to add text, add image, or anything else, as long as the system recognises the file format.
Upload an image of your choice
Resize your image within the safety lines.
I didnt want to get too complexed, so i decided to just add an image which was already in my desktop. So all you need to do is to click add image, upload your desired image, click your selected image and insert it to the editing page. Once its in the editing page, you can decrease or increase the size based on your liking within the green box.
Check the details of your purchase.
Checkout procedure.
Once youre happy with your design, add it into your cart and confirm your purchase by proceeding to checkout. You may be required to fill in your address, select a shipping method, and payment method during your checkout. If all the procedure went smoothly, you will receive an email to inform you that they've received your order! On a side note, i had to pay an additional RM8 on shipping since my purchase was below RM75.
Confirmation email
I think its great that they'll also notify you once your parcel is delivered so that you'll know when to expect it! Just on a personal side, i received a phone call from them saying that my image sent was pixelated, and they requested me to send another picture with higher resolution. THIS SERVICE was the highlight! I dont think many similar providers would take the effort to give you a call to inform you that your image is pixelated. Good job Printcious!
The moment of truth!
Materials of the cushion.
The parcel arrived after 3 working days, and i have to say that it was really fast! And of course, my cushion came with an inner microfiber which looks like the image above. I wasnt a fan of the inner microfiber, but thankfully the case is not attached to it, which means i can change the inner to my preferred cushion!
40cm x 40cm // 20cm x 20cm print area
Print quality
The size was exactly as how it was described on the website, and i was really impressed with the print! I decided to get white, cause it matches easily with anything at home. The print quality was really good cause i was initially expecting a stick on kind of print, but this was as if the cloth was printed together with the design. MAJOR LOVE!
The actual photo of my cushion pillow!
And there you have it! Liking my new pillow throw pillow for my bed? hehe. I dont know about you, but it adds a little hipster feel to my home with quotes like this. It defeats the hassle of looking for a pillow with my preferred quote. LOL. So, thank you for spending your time to read my humble blog. Till my next post! To order your own custom design, you can always head to http://www.printcious.com to order yours today!
If you're a fan of TLC, you would definitely might have stumbled upon the trailer of Jojo's Diary of Asia. Managed to meet her in person at one of the Ftalent classes, and she really did brighten up the entire room the moment she shared a speech on her journey to built her own business. And with an amazing variety of talent that Jojo Struys has benefited along the years, its no wonder that she's can be so inspiring! Frankly I'm a TLC fan myself, and i've seen her trailer for at least more than 5 times when I'm at home.
Jojo's meditating on an elephant.
A brief description would be that its about, would be you'd be following the dynamic, and not to forget down to earth host in action as she embarks on a fascinating journey across Asia showcasing breathtaking natural wonders, travel and de-strees escapes, and relaxation techniques to help viewers become more physically fit and mentally positive.
Also, since i managed to get a chat with her, she also did mention that the moments were really honest opinions through her journey around Asia. The theme was to represent a rustic image and music choices were carefully taken into consideration to really emphasise the moment. Did you know that the script itself was writhed by the amazing Jojo Struys herself? She believed that words should be coming from her heart to get a more intimate connection with readers to understand what her journey was all about. (Very deep indeed)
There are 3 countries in total that Jojo has been travelling around Asia, which includes, Hong Kong, Nepal and Japan. And through our conversations, she said that each country has its own beauty to it as when it comes to culture, the people, the traditions and also the environment. This 13 episode x 30 minute travel series features Jojo's travels from rustic beauty of the Himalayas to the bustling metropolis of Tokyo, covering a diverse array of uniquely cultural experiences.
The Wine Spa Onsen in Japan.
Jojo enjoying the weather around Japan during winter.
The Samurai class in Japan.
The photos above shows some of her behind the scene (BTS) shots which we taken during her journey. And can you just imagine the scenery?! Its just too heavenly! From enjoying a relaxing redwine onsen, to learning how to be a samurai, Jojo definitely knows how to explore real Asia. Can you believe that Jojo was trained by Wing Chun who was also the training of kungfu for Bruce Lee?
She even had the opportunity to step into the shoes of an apprentice Geisha for a day, which she explained to me that Geisha's are very white only because in the older centuries, light has not exist thus needing a brighter complexion to make sure that they can be seen under low lighting. The shows are definitely not to be missed!
Jojo with really adorable kids from Nepal.
Isn't this photo adorable? This was taken when Jojo was in Nepal and with those adorable smiles ever ready for the camera, I'm pretty sure this should be a moment to forget. In Nepal, they started the journey from Kathmandu and went to the valley, where she discovered that the buddha was actually born in Lumbini. Jojo said that the people they were really friendly and truly amazed with the culture and food available in Nepal. A definite change of scenery i presume? Here are some BTS photos of what happened in Nepal.
Jojo said that' It was such an incredible, soul-enriching journey for me, from bathing elephants in Nepal and flying past Mount everest, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking'. There was one moment she shared where she experienced a traditional culture in Nepal of treating sickness by listening to music to heal. Since i asked her what that felt like, she gladly explained that meditating could help cure chronic insomnia. The pose of silence while meditating with a Zen Buddhist monk was absolutely relaxing, because of the vibrations of music, where sound controls your body to relax and just take a breather, where her insomnia issues went down by half.
Jojo learning Kung Fu with Wing Chun.
Jojo trying out Dragon dancing drums.
And not to forget some sneak peaks in Hong Kong. Can you believe that Jojo was trained by Wing Chun who was also the training of Kung Fu for Bruce Lee? THAT IS INSANE JOJO! You're one lucky girl for getting that opportunity. Wing Chun is the master CEO of Kung Fu who assisted Bruce Lee in the movie Kill Bill volume 1. Could Jojo be the next Kung Fu master? Find out by watching Jojo's Diary of Asia on TLC!
Not to mention that she even managed to get rights into the kitchen of a Michelin starred restaurant in Hong Kong. During the journey, Jojo learned about the healing benefits of ancient power ingredients and how to make traditional dishes from scratch from a wide variety of chefs, which I can't wait to find out!
Jojo on work mode for the first season for "Jejak Jepun bersama Zizan"
And from all of this, its unbelievable to know that Jojo was also a part of the core team at cutting edge production house, called Kyanite TV, where she helped conceptualise the show from ideas, to final executions. With hands on work to hosting the entire show, it can be said that Jojo has put a lot of handwork and effort to get the audience to connect to her show. With such an amazing team, Jojo also mentioned that respect was also given to her team members who managed to get all these to happen.
This is the first time Jojo has hosted a travel show on TLC, Discovery Channel Asia, which she quote " This has been a dream come true for me to bring my passion for wells and travel to an international audience." Watch Jojo spontaneous reaction from her experience riding the worlds steepest roller coaster where she was screaming her lungs out to observing the pose of silence while meditating with a Zen Buddhist monk.
Did you know: Jojo has also directed "Yuna inspired".
Tempted to find out more? Well, head on over to TLC Discovery Channel Asia, every Monday at 8pm. The perfect way to push away those monday blues after coming home from work. Managed to catch her show last monday, and i have no regrets watching it. Being a jet-setter myself, if you love travelling too, you would absolutely love Jojo's Diary of Asia. Do tune in when you get the chance to.
Jojo hopes that her show would inspire viewers to travel and feeling life to the fullest.
Hope you enjoyed reading the behind the scenes details and shots. Do leave a comment below and let me know what you personally think of it. :) Cant wait to get your responses. Please note that photo credits are thanks to Jojo herself for sharing some of the BTS shots.

If you're a tech freak, well, here's what up with the latest trend in technology. Introducing the latest vivo smart phone, the new vivo X5Pro! Thanks to Vivo for having me at the launch which i managed to witness on the vivo X5Pro which was claimed to be inspired by the 'Touch by Beauty'.

With over 1500 people at the event, including celebrities such as Amber Chia, Adam Carruthers and other celebrities who even flew all the way just to attend the launch. I think it pretty much sums up that the launch was absolutely grand as it can be. Not to also mention, that i was held at the KL Convention Centre, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Soo Wincci was there too at the launch (Photo credits: KKiatPhotography)
Before i proceed any further, Vivo Electronics Corps. is a phone brand based in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. Founded in 2009 and since 2011, it made its international mark in over 100 countries world-wide including India, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Mr Alex Feng giving a speech on what are the focuses for vivo (Photo credits: KKiatPhotography)
At the launch we had Mr Alex Feng, which mentioned that they focused on their motto to 'Dare to push the limit and continue to bring new surprises' and this has resulted in many industry 'firsts' Since it first launch in 2012, the Vivo X1, followed by the Vivo X3 and not the vivo X5Pro has not only consecutively broke the worlds thinnest smartphone record, but also create the worlds most stunning Hi-Fi sound quality phone. I think the amount of effort was definitely taken into action to produce such an amazing hi-tech smartphone.
Mr Lewis Zhang, vivo Malaysia's CEO (Photo credits: KKiatPhotography)
We also has vivo Malaysia's CEO, Mr Lewis Zhang who attempted to speak in Bahasa Malaysia which was an impressive attempt to be a part of the Malaysian market as the brand is committed to their targeted image of fun, vibrant and youthful!
Bright lights and sound which got the attendees very excited.
An acrobatic performance which was nicely synced with the background screen (Photo credits: KKiatPhotography)
The launch was a grand one as spectators, audiences and partners of vivo were there to witness the show of light, colour, sound and amazing performances to celebrate the joyful event.
Through some video presentations, the concept was clearly brought out to achieve the design of vivo X5Pro. This gorgeous piece of technology was inspired by nature and the phone features curves in such a way that it resembles a drop of water. Its double sided with 2.5D glass combined with a metallic farm design and breathtaking finish packed in a slim 6.44mm body made it stand out from the rest.
The Official retail price; RM1599 (Definitely reasonable) (Photo credits: KKiatPhotography)
With such concentration on detail, the vivo X5Pro is impressive in both visual and function. And of course, with such high-tech detail, the price was cheaper than expected, retailing at RM1,599! Thats crazy reasonable for such a smartphone! Definitely a competition to the other smartphone brands within the industry.
Latest PDAF feature for high speed clear photos. (Photo credits: KKiatPhotography)
What really caught my attention was the features of the vivo X5Pro which comes with a SmartWake, a fully customisable screen gesture feature, and also the focus and central positioning feature of PDAF, with high speed flash! This is an achievement by vivo which managed to create a smartphone with the industry's fastest AF speed. Amazing!
The vivo X5Pro!
Metal Edge with curved glass.
Definitely super slim!
But all in all, i think as a youth myself, vivo X5Pro promises modern users that the phone would 'wow' a youth or anyone who is young at heart that they would be satisfied with the latest vivo X5Pro. It runs on the AKM AK4375 chip, with state-of-the-art Hi-Fi sound quality, slim body, high quality camera and also a FunTouch OS feature which still focuses on being a Hi-Fi standard phone.
Experiencing the vivo X5Pro
Being able to experience the phone myself, it definitely did impress me with its features and low light lighting is pretty impressive. Definitely better than my current phone that is, if you know what I'm using at the moment. For your convenience, i shall list down the features of the phone below:
The event ended with some food for those who are fasting which was very nice of them to take consideration to the Muslims who attended, and also who were fasting.
