The Body Shop App is now available!

Hey guys, again, im here to share to you about the good things in life. After all, good things are meant to be shared right? As the tittle says, The Body Shop now has an app and for a limited period of time, if you download the app (like pronto!) you can get a free gift and a discount instantly when you visit any 'The Body Shop' Store! How? Well i'll let you know how at the end of the post after i tell you a few reasons why to download the app. Hehe

Other than pampering us with body soaps and skincare's, The Body Shop has stepped up their game by introducing the body shop mobile app to make shopping even more convenient! When i say convenient, i really mean with just a few clicks, your The Body Shop parcel could already be ready for packing and on the way to your house in no time. As a shoppaholic myself, i admit that shopping can be VERY addictive when theres a user friendly app. #guiltyascharged

Create An Account

Once you've downloded the The Body Shop App, you may need to fill in a sign up form for an account. BUT NOT TO WORRY! Its an easy sign up form with less nonsense to fill up, as we all know we hate the amount of time we spend on signing up alone. You may be required to fill in your IC Number, Phone number and email address and youre good to go! I love how fast it is to create an account, especially when its easy and fast!

Also from the graphic attached above, you can see some of the things that you can do with the app. But my utmost favourite of all would be the Love Your Body Membership perks. If you've previously been a member with The Body Shop, you may find it hard to keep up with your spendings and expiry date as all data is only available on the system. With the app, you can now check your points, check on your available vouchers and also keep yourself updated with the membership expiry date! How cool is that?! But if youre not a member, to be a member, all you need to do is spend a minimum of RM100 and you're already eligible to sign up as an LYB member.

In-App Offers

Upon installation of the app, i think the first thing anyone would check out would be the 'Whats on Offer' browser, cause as Malaysians, its all about steal deals and offers that money cant buy. HAHA. So, within the offer list, i see that you can redeem free samples, 50% off on selected items, free gift wrapping  and much much more irresistible deals! If you love buying gifts for family or for yourself, the app is a perfect way to save you some extra bucks when shopping. What do you have to lose anyway? PSSST! [REVIEW] Roader App // Roader Kitchen

Hello there guys. Dont you hate those days when youre just too lazy to go out and get lunch or dinner after a long tiring day? Well here i am introducing to you an alternative, where you can get someone else to get the food to you instead of doing it all on by yourself. I was recently introduced to the Roader app where it offers services like transportation, delivery and a new feature which is called the Roader Kitchen.

So the minute i heard about the Roader Kitchen, i was actually excited cause on a busy day, i do admit that i tend to skip meals because im just too tired to get my own meal ,especiallywhen i have so many things to think about. To make it easier for you guys, i've attached some photos on the registration which was really simple and easy to set up. As you can see, the sign up is super simple, where all you need to fill in is your name, phone number, email and username id. You may also be required to verify your phone number, where they'll send you a verification code just to be sure that you typed the right number. Once everything is set up, you're ready to start ordering your meal!

What i love about the app is that its user friendly, and that you can pre-order your food a day before making it less fuss for you to plan out your day. There were tons of different chefs available in the app where most of them i realized changes their menu weekly, to give more differnt options for customers to order. YAY! I decided to browse through Chef Lynnette and Chef Edwina's menu which is attached in the photo above, and you would have to agree that the pricing is rather affordable. Can you guess what i picked on the menu?

And tadda, i decided to order the Salted Egg Yolk Chicken served with multi-grained rice cause it looks all healthy but at the same time delicious. Once you've ordered, you will be able to choose your preffered time of lunch and eventually leading you to the checkout page which they will also include the service and delivery charge in your total. I know that some of us may not really enjoy the extra delivery charges, but just think about it, you're paying slightly extra to get yourself home on time, avoiding the jam, and the hassle of looking for a parking lot.

So once you checkout, it will lead you to a payment page where it's filled with payment options of your preference. I think its great that they have tons of payment options to choose from, making it easy for us to pay via online. Its pretty clear that the total is stated and once payment has been confirmed, you will next receive an email stating that your order has been confirmed. I like the fact that they included the roaders phone number, so just in case im wondering if my lunch would arrive, i can at least give them a call just to be sure.

And tadaa! My Salted Egg Yolk Chicken served with multi-grained rice is here! I actually requested it to arrive between 12.30pm -1pm but it arrived at about 11am. So i guess it arrives before the time stated assuming that the time you picked would be your preferred lunch hour. I love how it comes in a proper container which also includes the utensils to enjoy my meal. Little like these matters to me.

As a verdict, i have to say that the service is really good and it saves you the time and effort to getting your own meals. The food arrived to me warm, and the roader who passed me the meal was really nice and friendly. YAY! [REVIEW] Funa ; The Free Family Locator App

Being the oldest daughter in my family, and being in my twenties, it may take a while for both my parents to re-adjust to my social needs. GoGet ; Extra help on errands

Hello everyone!

I recently 'applied' to check out whats this GoGet all about when i saw the ad on facebook, and since it somewhat makes money, i was thinking like, why not give it a go right? HAHA. Just so you guys know, im currently doing my MBA at the moment and im also working part time when i feel like it. So usually my timetable is free. And with all that free time i have, wouldnt it be great to decide to work at any hour of the day and still earn money? If your answer is yes, do check out GoGet and see what they have to offer.

Here is a photo of the person who made it happen, introducing to you Francesca Chia, the GoGet,my founder. The GoGet is described as a marketplace for errands, which offers people the chance to save a few extra hours by relegating little task. And this is where GoGetters come in.

GoGetters are the people who sign up and decide on which errands would be convenient for them to help out on. From collecting and sending flowers on someones anniversary, to collecting documents from offices, you dont need to know much in order to know how to follow instructions. Your pay comes in depending on how much of errands will you be willing to do.

But of course, to be a GoGetter, you would have to attend a training which would last for around 2 hours or so, just so that you understand the system. Personally being there, i think its great to mingle around with people who have the same interest. :)

As i arrived, there were around 12 attendees to attend for the meet-up and basically we were given a presentation on how GoGet works. IT DOESNT END THERE, as there will be a short quiz to test your skills in responding to customers. HAHA. So better pay attention when youre there. My marks wasnt as bad, but fear not, as its not that hard to answer it.

To qualify as a GoGetter, you need to score an 80% and above. (SCORE!)

So, at the end of the session, we were given a sticker, a car sticker and a shirt as a welcome gift for being a part of GoGet. And now, im ready to decide on what would i want to 'GoGet' for people. hehe. I really cant wait for my first duty, so here goes nothing. Wish me luck :*
