Here's my November 2017 Nutox Skincare Empties

Hi guys, it has been a while since I've last done a skincare review and this time I'm featuring the newly launched NUTOX Renewing Treatment. I have been using this for over a month now and the results are amazing (i can bet on it!). The NUTOX Renewing Treatment Range

The NUTOX Renewing Treatment was recently launched somewhere in mid-2017, and I finally gave it a chance to test out on how effective it is. The range comes in 3 products namely, the Renewing Treatment Lotion, The Renewing Treatment Essence and the Renewing Treatment Cream each having its own purpose to basically renew your skin. The best part of all is that its perfect for all skin types! Which pretty much means you can never go wrong with these babies. So here's the breakdown.

Renewing Treatment Lotion

NUTOX Renewing Treatment Lotion

The Renewing Treatment Lotion basically comes in a bottle of 150ml with the purpose to Renew your Skin. The lotion has been developed with LumiNes to buff and lift away dead cells and impurities from the face, for a glowy complexion. It claims to give a new life to your skin by renewing your skin almost effortlessly. This retails at RM59.90

I like to apply my toner on a cotton pad cause im messy when its hands on (true story)

Pour an adequate amount of lotion onto a cotton pad or to the palm of your hands, then gently pat your skin until the lotion is roughly absorbed. To be applied twice daily after cleansing. I must admit that I love its lightweight formulation that's unlike your average toner. Surprisingly this toner was moisturizing and it really refreshes the skin each time after application. Great to closed up those stubborn pores!

Renewing Treatment Essence

After the toner, next would be the Nutox Renewing Treatment Essence. The Essence comes in a cute 30ml pump glass bottle (so fancy) for easy control of essence. It functions to Restore the skin by deeply moisturizing the skin while repairing the texture of the skin. It also claims to make your skin look more beautiful and radiates a youthful glow. This retails at RM79.90 per bottle.

I like to apply it in a 5 point method

The essence is to be used after applying the Renewing Treatment Lotion. I usually would use a peasized amount of essence and massage an adequate amount onto my face until the essence penetrates completely. Its also best to apply this once a day and once at night on a cleansed face and neck before moisturizing. Despite it being an essence, I must say that I love how well the formulation is absorbed by my skin without leaving any sticky residue. Shocked and surprised, but I have to say after about 2 weeks of using this, my skin looks like its glowing.

Renewing Treatment Cream

The last step after essence would be to apply the Renewing Treatment Cream. The cream is to radiate the skin so that you can maintain the glow that you already have. The NUTOX Renewing Treatment Cream is formulated with LumiNes to smoothen the skin while providing nourishment deep within the skin to keep your skin radiant for a long time. It comes in a glass jar with 30ml of radiating cream. This retails at RM49.90.

To be applied evenly onto face.

This being the last step of my skincare routine, I personally like to use a spatula so that I don't spoil the product by contaminating the content. Apply a generous amount onto face and massage gently. I like to apply this to my face and neck and occasionally, when my skin is extremely dry, I like to also use this as a night mask for extra moisturizing. To be honest, you might think I'm overreacting, but really, this has to be one of the best cream I've tried!

Here's a comparison of a before and after shot of the results. I have been out in the sun a lot as my job requires me to constantly visit an island where the sun rays are way stronger than the ones in the city, thus I had hopes that with the Nutox Renewing Treatment range would help me get my 'glow' back. And from the looks of it, I must say that I'm satisfied with the results. Like for reals, can you even see the difference? This photo was not at all edited, and I see that my acne was almost gone, pores seem to be minimised, and most importantly, it evens out my skin tone!

Verdict

Here's proof of my empties!

As a verdict, after using the whole skincare set for about a month on my combination skin type, I would have to say it works like a charm on me. If you're looking to find a way to renewing your skin from all the madness your skin had to go through, I would definitely suggest you to try the Nutox Renewing Treatment range to renew your skin with a simple skincare regime. What can I say? I love the whole set! Minimal skincare with easy steps, its 100% idiot proof even for skincare beginners.

As we all know, the lotion is an essential first step after cleansing. It helps to awaken the skin as it drives moisture deep into the inner skin layers to prepare skin to fully receive the benefits of the next skincare regime that follows. I was actually rather shocked to find how moisturizing the lotion is, unlike your liquid lotion, this had a slightly gooey texture. To use, gently pat the lotion onto the face until its fully absorbed. For best results, use twice daily after cleansing.

This is a light weight milk that easily penetrates deep into skin to restore youthful radiance and luminosity, leaving the skin visibly firmer and smoother. After testing it on my hand, I would say that this lifting and firming milk really would moisturize your skin almost instantly! This can be applied twice daily after lotion/essence. Gently pat onto face until its thoroughly absorbed.

The cream has a velvety texture that melts into the skin to provide an intense nourishment to strengthen and improve the skin's youthfulness, leaving the skin visibly lifted, firmer and more luminous. Apply after lotion/ essence, and evenly spread the cream around the face and neck area. You'd be surprised how moisturizing the texture is, perfect for a firmer lift for the skin.

Don't judge a book by its cover as this care cream really does wonders! Its a rich and nourishing cream that is designed to treat age sensitive contours around the lips and eyes. With regular usage of this would leave your lines looking finer and smoother, revealing a plumper, more youthful and renewed skin texture. It would be advisable to use this twice daily after moisturizing. To use, gently dab onto wrinkle-prone areas such as the forehead, eyes and lip area.

[REVIEW] Cure Natural Aqua Gel

Cure Natural Aqua Gel Review

Today i'll be reviwing about one of the raved products from Japan, the Natural Aqua Gel Cure. I've been using this for over 3 years now, and since i know that some of you arent particularly familiar with the product, i decided to do a write up on it. The normal question for first timers who have never heard of it would be, "what is it suppose to do?" Well my friend, thats why im here to tell you a think or a two about why this is a must have! Little that we know that behind almost every skin problem, is caused by a layer of accumulated dead skin (i know, eww). And because of  this 'layer' of dead skin, it slows down the recovery of your natural skin regrowth. Did you know that make-up remover, cleansers and soap are not capable of removing dead skin?! Thats why exfoliator cleansers exist, eg, Cure's Natural Aqua Gel.

Cure happens to be Japan's most popular exfoliating gel product among Japanese consumers, actresses & models and now they have finally made their way to Malaysia. Since 2002, they have been featured in many leading Japanese magazines for its popularity (and theres no doubt why). They even won an award as the most famous cinematic achievement in 2008 too!

Some directions on how to use, and it has an expiry date too!

Traditional exfoliators in the market are usually chemically designed with strong acids, to dissolve protein, scars, which ends up damaging your skin in the long run, or when used too often. Cure is a gentle alternative if you care for your skin as it removes only dead skin, making it the safest and most effective exfoliation in the market! Its 90% made out of hydrogen water, preservative free, fragrance free, colouring free, alcohol free and mineral oil free. 

HOW CURE WORKS?

The ultimate question, what is the Cure Natural Aqua Gel purpose? Well, it claims to gently removes dead skin without harming the skin. And from my personal experiences, thats exactly what it does! It can also be considered as an exfoliator, that removes dead skin almost effortlessly. Psst, i also like using this especially when im out and exposed to dust, i would use this as an extra boost in cleansing the skin. Its also great if you want to reduce spots, pigmentation, pimple, blackhead, dry skin, oily skin, wrinkles and dull skin. 

HOW TO USE? 

Remove make up and cleanse your face with cleanser

Pump a sufficient amount of Cure Natural aqua gel on palm and massage skin

Feel the magic of dead skin-free skin

To use, remove all make up, cleanse face, and pat dry. Pump a pea size of Cure onto your fingertips and gently massage skin (or specifically onto any area that you want to remove dead skin) in circular motion to remove the dead skin. Once the dead skin cells has come off (it will be in a form of dust) rinse with water and continue with your regular skin care routine.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE THIS?

Use once or twice per week for best results

Well, based on my online research, it would be advisable to use Cure about twice per week for best results. With a gentle massage, the liquid will remove dead skin within seconds! But in my case, i usually use it weekly, or extra only during times that i feel like my skin isn't breathing. So if youre wondering how long a bottle would last, i would say that it would last you about 4 months, if you use it twice per week (and thats about 1/3 of the year already)!

VERDICT

I personally have to agree that this has to be the best and safest exfoliation, which is pretty much the reason why that i've been using this for the past 3 years. And after 3 years of using Cure's natural Aqua Gel, i do noticed that my skin condition improved a lot, and im assuming that the reason behind it would be cause my skincare seems to work better with all my dead skin not slowing down the absorption rate. YAS! So if you've been using a complete skincare range, but haven't exactly managed to see results on your skin, well, dead skin might be the reason why. For those seeking for extra cleansing, i would highly recommend this product to you. Every bottle of Cure's Natural Aqua Gel  comes in a 250ml bottle, and i got mine from Sa Sa Malaysia.

[REVIEW] White Formula Super Moist Range

The White Formula Super Moist Review

I’ve always wanted a full skincare range that has hyaluronic acid as the main ingredient, and guess what?! I FINALLY FOUND IT and its from a brand called White Formula, a Taiwanese beauty skincare product. I was entirely hooked when I found out that their products use 3 types of patented hyaluronic acid. And if you don’t know, Hyaluronic Acid is a well-known ingredient for skin moisturizing. So on days when youre lacking of moisture, the white formula would be what you'll be looking for.

Within the White Formula Super Moist Range, contains 3 types of patent Hyaluronic Acid to Transmit Moisture, Replenish moisture and retain Moisture. And in this blog post I will be sharing with you a detailed write up on the White Formula Super Moist Facial Foam, Toner, Lotion, Gel and Essence.

THE REVIEW

Step 1 : SUPER MOIST FACIAL FOAM WITH HYALURONIC ACID

Super Moist Facial Foam with Hyaluronic Acid // RM29.90

First up for review would be the Super Moist Facial Foam with Hyaluronic Acid. Other than containing 3 unique types of Patented Hyaluronic Acid, it claims to boost your skin hydration up to 10 times! From my first wash with this foam cleanser, it was like instant love. It cleanses while providing deep hydration, firming and long lasting moisturization. It comes in a tube of 120g and its suitable for people with normal to dry skin.

This cleanser is to be used twice daily, once in the morning and once at night. Like any other cleanser, apply about 1cm of the cleanser to palm and lather before applying to wet face. Give it a good massage in circular motion and rinse thoroughly. After using this for about 2 weeks now, i realized that my dry patches are gone, so i approve that it moisturizes the skin really well. 

Step 2 : SUPER MOIST LIGHT TONER WITH HYALURONIC ACID

Apply a generous portion onto a cotton pad

After cleaning, it would be highly advisable to use their Toner with Hyaluronic Acid next. The toner comes in two forms, one in Rich (suitable for normal to dry skin) and the other in Light (suitable for normal to oily/combination skin) . But as for me, im using the refreshing light formula since i have oily combination skin, and did you know that it happens to be the Leading Super Moist Toner in Taiwan? Upon applying it to my skin, I find that its easily absorbed by my skin, and its non-sticky, making it suitable for even acne-prone skin. It claims deeply hydrates the skin , forming a protective layer to prevent moisture loss. Other than that, it stimulates collagen regeneration, leaving the skin feeling firm and smooth.

To use, simply apply evenly all over the face and neck after cleaning, once early in the morning, and once after showering at night. In my case, I decided to use a cotton pad cause i think its more hygienic than using bare hands. After application, I usually like to give it a light pat to encourage better absorption.

Step 3: SUPER MOIST LOTION WITH HYALURONIC ACID

And once youre done with toning, you need to use the Super Moist Lotion with Hyaluronic Acid to make sure that your skin stays moisturized. It contains Marine collagen which has been extracted from the deep seas and it exhibits high water-binding properties, making it easily absorbed by the skin to provide hydration, replace moisture loss and enhance skin elasticity. It stimulates collagen regeneration, and I really love the fact that its not at all sticky. #win

To use, I usually would apply this evenly all over my face and neck after toner, twice a day with a cotton pad. Then I’ll give it a massage in an upwards motion to encourage firming. Im still amazed that the bottle of lotion is huge and it would definitely last me for more than 2 months. This might be my favorite lotion cause it does not leave any sticky residue after application.  

Step 4 : SUPER MOIST GEL WITH HYALURONIC ACID

After lotion, i applied the Super Moist Gel With Hyaluronic Acid. Other than containing 3 unique types of patented Hyaluronic Acid, it also has 2 unique patented moisturizing ingredients which are also known as Ceramide and Moist 24. It also contains naturally extracted ingredients that boosts skin defense and provides long-lasting moisturization to last you the entire day. The modern gel nowadays are pretty advance, and usually comes in a 2 in 1 feature. So guess what?! You can either use this gel in your skincare routine, or use it as a face mask and leave it on overnight.

Tip: Use it as a night mask to enhance skin elasticity and hydration

To use, apply it evenly all over your face and neck after lotion and massage gently in an upward motion. I decided to use a spatula instead of my fingers to keep it clean. Personally, i was impressed with the texture of this gel. It felt very light on my skin, and it was well absorbed too! The gel instantly felt like water once it was in contact with my skin, so it did left my skin feeling cool after application.

Step 5: SUPER MOIST ESSENCE WITH HYALURONIC ACID

Super Moist Essence with Hyaluronic Acid // RM62.90

And last but not least would be the Super Moist Essence with Hyaluronic Acid. This essence is definitely different that the usual essence that i use cause its not at all milky. This is a little special than the first 4 products cause it contains an extra type of Hyaluronic Acid which would be the Hyaveil. It claims to provide up to 10  times hydration power while stimulating collagen regeneration. Love how it feels on my skin as my skin absorbs the product really well and it doesn't leave any sticky residue.

To use, apply it evenly all over your face and neck after gel and massage gently in an upward motion to encourage firming results. Its super light, and the texture was almost similar to the gel, just that instead of a jar, it came in a form of a bottle. I would say that this essence gives you a boost in moisturizing if you skin is dry, but since i have oily combination skin,  i only use this once every 2 days.

VERDICT

My thoughts?

As a verdict, i have to say that this would be my current choice to purchase when im on a tight budget, but looking for a good skincare product. The price is really affordable and the packaging for each product is huge! I would say that if you buy the complete range, its good enough to last you for up to 3 to 4 months. This range is suitable for normal to dry skin, making it versatile for almost any skin type. Their range gurantees that there are no alcohol, no fragrance, and no collorant was used to produce these products. And i did noticed that the formula is really gentle on skin, which makes me love it even more.
