[REVIEW] Hanangell ; skin booster

Todays review about Hanangell

Just to keep yourself updated with the latest beauty technoogy in 2016, i stumbled upon this! Hanangell, is one of Korea's Latest Advance Beauty Technology and in today's post, i'll be sharing to you guys behind the Korean secret on hydrating, smoothing and moisture whitening for the skin. I was told that this is suitable for all skin types, which is a bonus cause some products just dont do good on me with the skin type I have.

The packaging is nothing spectacular, and it contains 2 syringes in each pack of Hanangell. Since I'm not Korean, the only English words that I see is the brand name, the content and the expiry date. Well good news, I find expiry dates important! And I'm assuming that it is packed individually for hygienic reasons, and at the same time, keeping the content fresh and exposed from sunlight and heat.

HOW TO USE?

Contains 2 syringes

In a pack of Hanangell, there will be 2 syringes of skin boosters which I was told that its equivalent to 10 sheets of facial mask. I don't know about you, but 10 sessions of facial mask sessions sounds like 2 and a half months of constant moisturising in a week. Since it comes in a syringe, some of you may be a little confused on how to use this, so i'm sharing it to you on how to use the hanangell syringe.

Remove the tip lock

I love how the syringe comes with covers to avoid accidental possibilities. At the tip of the syringe, you will find this rather odd lock on it. I was thinking that it was a screw at first, but it's meant to break as you twist this. So do not panic if you think you broke it, cause its meant to be broken.

And tadaa, you can use this like a normal syringe.

Very moisturising to the skin

And once you removed the tip, you're good to go! Use it like any syringe, and place a sufficient amount onto skin. The texture felt rather like water gel, so it wasn't as sticky as I thought it would be. I was expecting it to be like a serum, but surprisingly, this was absorbed really well by my skin once its spreaded out. Other than the amazing texture, I love how it leaves a moisturising feel onto the skin.

INSTRUCTION

Apply an adequate amount on palm

This is to be used early in the morning and evening after cleansing your face, which means that its about 2 sessions a day. But if your skin is already in a good stage, but in need of maintenance, I'd suggest using this before going to bed at night. Apply an appropriate amount, which in my case I applied 1/3 of the syringe portion per session then apply it to face.

Gently massage face until its absorb by skin

After applying to face and neck areas, massage gently until it absorbs into the skin. This product is also suitable to be used at other parts of the body too! I've personally been adding this to my daily skin care routine, and guess what? I realise that it moistures, brightens, whitens, firms, and repairs! Theres really no reason not to have this product at home for emergencies. 2 syringes was good enough to instantly boost the condition of my skin to look happier and healthier.

VERDICT?

Verdict? 

As a verdict, I would definitely repurchase this again! Not that i would use it as often. Just for those days when i have extremely dull skin, this would be the answer to reviving! Appropriate for all skin types, with main components like hyaluronic acid and collagen that helps to hydrate and lightens skin rapidly. Its also suitable for pregnant women, sensitive skin, acne skin and for those suffering from skin allergies too!

Chiba Sweet Potatoes | A Taste of Chiba, Japan

Chiba Sweet Potatoes anyone?

So about a week ago, I was invited to try out some sweet potatoes which are all the way from Chiba at Jaya Grocer, Bangsar Village. And to my surprise, there was a roadshow on Chiba sweet potatoes! I have been consuming sweet potatoes since I was a baby, but little that I know that sweet potatoes can taste very different, depending on where they come from.

At the roadshow, we had they had like a demonstration on how Chiba sweet potatoes can be prepared as. From appetizers, to light snacks, to desserts, who really knew that you can prepare so many varieties of dishes with just one type of potato?  Other than that, complimentary samples were also being given out to the public to get a taste of this yummy sweet potato. Managed to get a bite of it myself, and I instantly fell in love with the taste.

I was amazed to also find out that the Chiba sweet potato comes in different sizes, and you have to agree with me that the large sweet potato is HUMONGOUS! But the ones sold are usually the medium ones.

And on a side note, they were also sharing the nutritional facts on Chiba Sweet Potatoes. Did you know that Sweet Potato can be considered as comfort food for beauty since it contains vitamins, potassium, and dietary fiber? Who knew! It also stimulates intestinal regulation action thanks to Jalapin, which you will see white milk when cutting a raw sweet potato.

Another fun fact would be that Chiba Prefecture is one of the largest sweet potato producers in Japan. Their excellent producers are well known for being particular about the soil and cultivation methods, which guarantee’s that the potatoes produced are sweet and endorsed safely.

HOW TO BAKE?

There are just so many ways to prepare Chiba Sweet Potatoes! But as a beginners guide, I’ll share with you the simplest way to enjoy the simple delicacies of Chiba Sweet Potatoes.  First, wash the potato and wrap it in aluminum foil. Next place it in an oven heated at 200C and bake it for 40-50 minutes. Once it's baked, stab a skewer into the potato, and enjoy! Did you know that the longer you bake it in an over, the sweeter the taste gets?

Well, I'm glad to say that there are now available at selected grocers near you in Malaysia! So be sure to grab a bag of these amazing Chiba Sweet Potatoes when you see them in stores. Get a bite of their potatoes, and you will instantly get what I mean. I even managed to have a short chat with some people who tried the Chiba sweet potatoes, and they loved it despite not being a fan of Sweet Potatoes.

Hello there! I know it has been a while since I last updated on my post, but that's because I've recently started work. Yes, serious office life 9.30pm to 6.30pm jobs. But finally, I managed to get allocate some time to write about my recent Valentines Day activity. What better way than to celebrate Valentines Day filled with love and healthy exercising activities? hehe

So I present to you the Score Cupid Run 2016 with Aliza Sara in this blogpost. hehe. How was it you may wonder? Since I went last year, this year they came back with another adventure which was held at Kepong Metropolitan Park on 14th February 2016, starting from 7 am onwards.

The run practically encourages more people to take up running, by making it more interesting with more fun activities and surprises. And what better way than to infuse fairytale themes into the run to convince couples to go for a great cardiovascular exercise in the park? There were runners from all ages with different backgrounds who participated in this fun run.

There is really no pressure in completing the race because there will not be taking any timing, and basically the idea of it is to enjoy the fun run. There are 4 pit stops that the trail has to offer. I didn't manage to experience the beginning at the Cider cause I was too pumped up with my jog. But I did manage to stop at the other 3 pit stops! As a frequent runner, bringing my partner who isn't a frequent runner, this actually promotes an exciting way to stay fit. It doesn't matter if you decide to go with your best friend, your lover, with your siblings and many more other options, but the highlight of it is to run through the mystical theme and create memories with loved ones.

The highlight of them all would be to complete the race with these really cute medals! I love how each medal has its own gender and the fact that it's an interlocking heart medal as a remembrance that you have completed your race with your other half. Hehe. As corny as that sounds, it is extra exciting that the medals are different than the usual marathon medals.
