[Food Review] Ayamas Emporis Kota Damansara

Good news to Kota Damansara folks, being a KD girl, im so happy to share with you that Kedai Ayamas is now available at Emporis Kota Damansara. I visited the store the other day with the family, and im excited to share with you my thoughts on what I think about their food. The variety of roasted chicken available at Kedai Ayamas has always been hard to choose from, but if you havent tried any of their famous Roasted chicken yet, its about time you do! Without any hesitation, let me share with you more about what to expect at Kedai Ayamas. 

 

Currently, there are 62 chains of Ayamas Stores in the whole of Malaysia. Since im based in Kota Damansara, there's a newly opened Ayamas store in Emporis Kota Damansara which I managed to check out over the weekend, thus it deserves a review considering the interior has a whole new look when it comes to the concept. Ayamas focuses on the 3H which guarantees that what they serve is Healthy, Hygenic, and Halal, which usually is why I put a lot of trust in the food they serve to be never disappointing. 

Talking about the concept of the store, let me just briefly explain to you what to expect when you walk into any Ayamas Store. The store offer cooked chicken and other combo deals for a dine-in option, raw chicken, and other frozen food that you can bring home. That being said, its like a one-stop location if youre looking to fill an empty stomach while bringing back fresh raw chicken for you to cook at home for the week. Not a bad idea right? 

Main Menu

One of the Kedai Ayamas main attractions would be their fresh roasted chicken that has a unique seasoning of spices. The roasted chicken that they have to offer would be the Golden Chicken, Pepper Chicken Percik Chicken. Starting off with the Golden Chicken, the flavor features an original taste with a tinge of coated sweet honey to balance out the roasted sweet flavor that it has to offer. I would honestly say that this has to be my daughter's favorite as its not spicy and it has a natural chicken flavor. I love how despite this being the least seasoned among the rest, it really offers the taste of chicken that is guranteed to be fresh and delicious with hints of honey. 

Another option of roasted chicken by Ayamas would be their Pepper chicken which offers roasted chicken that has been seasoned with black pepper. From what i know, they marinate freshly produced chicken in black pepper to ensure that the chicken that you indulge in would taste fresh with hints of peppery spices making it great for a mild hint of spices to linger around your tongue after each bite. 

And last but not least would be their Percik Chicken which apparently is a crowd favorite since it offers a traditional percik flavor that we all love and enjoy. The percik sauce is a combination of coconut milk lemongrass and ginger that creates a wonderful mouthwatering combination. Honestly between the three that Ayamas has to offer, i would have to say that the percik is my favorite of all because this marinate offers a lot of flavors to linger in your mouth. It has a good balance of spice while the coconut milk adds a creamy texture to the percik. If you haven't given this a go, you should make your way to Ayamas to get a bite of this bestseller roasted chicken by Ayamas. 

Light Snacks and Other Dishes

On top of their main roasted chickens, did you know that Ayamas also offers other wholesome dishes as well? If youre looking to dine in and get a good combination of carbohydrates and protein, then you can always try their pasta-based dishes, pastries, and even set meals that come with chicken rice. I actually enjoyed my recent visit as they also offered a kids meal menu for those who have kids, making it family-friendly to dine in. When i visited this outlet, i would have to say that this is the first time im trying their puff pastries, and they actually taste pretty good! Its great for snacking or to fill a light stomach if youre not too hungry. I tried the chicken curry puff and the chicken cream pie, and i really enjoy indulging in both.

Since i managed to try the Bolognaise Spaghetti with BBQ Chicken while i was there, i would have to say that i love how it goes beyond by providing a natural non-salty taste, making it perfect for the kids to enjoy as well. I didnt think i would like the pasta as much, but i can tell that it was carefully prepared and lightly seasoned to give you an assurance of a healthy bite. It doesnt look as fancy, but trust me, the taste of it makes it feel like youre at home.

If you love promotions, then you should keep an eye on this paragraph as I'll be spilling the details on what they have to offer. Every 15th and 30th, their roasted chicken would be available at a discounted price. There is also a Thursday special and a Daily 'Savings Set' (Set jimat), that offers a really good deal for a set of chicken rice with a bottle of mineral water at only RM10.90 only. 

Alternatively, if you don't feel like going out, Ayamas has collaborated with Grabfood and Food Panda to satisfy your cravings without the need to leave the house. How awesome is that? Despite just recently enjoying my freshly roasted Ayamas Chicken the past few days, I still feel like I need to head over to the store to get some more! Trust me, you'll never get tired of their juicy chicken goodness. On top of that, i honestly enjoy their secret recipe chili sauce which is also for sale in-store. It's not at all spicy, and it has the right amount of sour and spicy to enhance the flavors in your dish. 

As a verdict, I would have to say that I really enjoyed my visit to Ayamas Emporis Kota Damansara. I love the fact that they conveniently have a dine-in option for a quick enjoyable dining experience and the fact that they also sell frozen food for you to pack and go. Honestly, what I admire the most about their roasted chicken would be that they are never really overcooked, and they are also very juicy, to begin with. Never too dry and the chicken just melts in your mouth after every bite. It's definitely worth trying if you haven't, and I can guarantee that you'll keep coming back for more. 

Ayamas started with the concept of selling fresh HALAL & TOYIBBA produced chicken alongside other frozen food such as sausages, burgers, and nuggets in a more modern environment store of their own. With a tagline of 'More Than Just Chicken' now Ayamas offers 'Ready To Eat' menu's such as Chicken Briyani Bukhara Rice, Bulgogi Chicken Rice, Thai Green Curry Chicken with rice. From manufacturing frozen food, now Ayamas customers can dine in to enjoy freshly roasted chicken with the secret blend of Ayamasspices.

I honestly didn't think i would love this as much, but really, this is incomparable to the diffuser as it has its own strengths. I usually love using this after setting the bed in the bedroom and also if i want an extra boost in aroma in the living room as well. It has a very light refreshing scent that would brighten the mood in every corner of the room. Its really convenient to use considering it comes in a spray bottle, and on average, i would spray for at least 3-4 times for each location that would provide me with just the right amount of aroma. 

Plant Origins Uplift Charm Essential Oil Roller

Now this is an innovative oil roller! Since it comes in a roller bottle of 10ml, its really convenient to bring it around with you wherever you go. I bring this around in my handbag, and it really comes in handy when im feeling tired or stressed. Since im not an expert in determining the EO used in this, i would say as an overall that the scent of this oil roller is really calming and relaxing with hints of mild scents that would uplift the mood and situation. All you need to do it rub it over your wrist or behind your ear loob, and the EO would accompany you throughout the day for at least 2-3 hours for each application. 

Aroma Stone & Pouch

At first im was wondering what is the function of this Aroma Stone & pouch, btu after going through to what makes sense, i actually consider this as an on-the-go diffuser! I actually applied a few drops of oil blend onto the stone, and basically wrapped it back up in the pouch to 'preserve' the EO on it. When i need to use it, such as when im driving, i would bring this with me and it would fill the car with a refreshing scent for a relaxing drive. 

Verdict

Well, since i got a little curious, i went to the official site of Signature Market to find out the price of the gift box and found it to be only at RM150! For the quality and presentation of the products, i would have to say that this gift set is worth more than that amount. Overall, i would say that this makes a perfect gift for anyone looking to refresh & reset or even simply as a gift for yourself when you need to pamper yourself. [BEAUTY REVIEW] Honest thoughts on the SNP Cicaronic Skincare Range

Hello everyone! Im doing an honest review on what I think about the Cicaronic Skincare Range. I believe if you are a beauty enthusiast, you would be aware of the hype of Cica. Fret not if this is your first time hearing about Cica, cause I'll be more than happy to explain to you why this ingredient has become pretty popular in today's era. Cica basically stands for Centella Asiatica, an ingredient that is known to heal battle wounds and has a very impressive impact on skin recovery in general. So, when we're talking about skin imperfections of scars, acne, signs of burns, and basically skin imperfections, Cica has always been the solution to assist the skin in recovery.

That being said, when SNP launched the SNP Cicaronic Skincare range, it has created a lot of hype on the internet, and trust me, it's an eye-catcher on shelves. The Cicaronic Skincare is from the SNP Prep category, bringing back skincare basics with multiple layers of hyaluronic acid, accompanied by activity ingredients such as peptides, cica, and vitamins. With all the good stuff being available in one whole skincare range, who can really resist the temptation? When I first heard about it, I must admit that I was pretty excited to try it out on my skin, and now since I've already been trying it out for about 2 weeks now, I would have to say that the results do justice to the skincare range. Now, let me further elaborate on the products that the range has to offer. 

 SNP Cicaronic Cleansing Foam

The SNP Cicaronic skincare range currently offers 5 products, but of course, what's a skincare range without starting off with their cleanser? I think this is by far the first time im seeing a cleanser that offers cica in their ingredients. The cleansing foam is a cleanser that contains intensive moisturizing properties that would leave your skin feeling soft after every wash. What's even better about this cleanser would be that it is also suitable for those who have sensitive skin too. The whole idea behind the Cicaronic skincare line is to help soothe and restore tired and sensitive skin within a shorter period with stronger recovery results. The minute I step into the shower, I would usually start off with this cleanser, and you have my word when I say it feels great on the skin. It foams up really smooth and cleanses pretty well without leaving the skin feeling dry after washing the cleanser off. 

SNP Cicaronic Toning Essence

Next would be the SNP Cicaronic Toning Essence. If you think this is your regular toner, then think again! It does function like a toner, but I'd say it has extra benefits of essence within the contents. Typical toners usually function to close up your pores after cleansing, but the SNP Cicaronic Toning Essence, it does not only closes up the pores, but it also soothes and locks moisture to keep your skin looking more energized bringing restoration and relaxation to your skin. Formulated with hypoallergenic mild water, this would also prevent skin irritation for days that your skin isn't doing so well, keeping the skin clear and stress-free. To apply this, I would like to get a few drops on my palms, then lightly dab it into my skin. Im not usually a fan of toners, but this has a very light refreshing sensation. 

SNP Cicaronic Ampoule

I swear that I love ampoules the most. I've been using ampoule and the results are never disappointing at all. The SNP Cicaronic Ampoule offers a formulation that contains the Cica Trio by SNP and 3 layers of Hyaluronic Acid that makes Cicaronic! Honestly, I would say that the ampoule would be more suitable for when you need intensive treatment care and results are guaranteed when you apply the ampoule daily for a week. Since my skin didn't need intensive care, it's still a great add on to add into your skincare for that extra boost of love and pampering to your skin. I love the fact that the ampoule feels very light on the skin without leaving any sticky residue which I think is one of the most important factors in choosing the right ampoule. To conclude the functions, it's like an extra add on to your skincare routine to provide moisture, soothing, and hydration benefits to energize the skin. I usually would use this after toning and before moisturizing.

SNP Cicaronic Soothing Cream

Next would be SNP Cicaronic Soothing Cream. Honestly, if youre looking to try just one product from the skincare range, I would highly recommend you to have this at home as your first product from the SNP Cicaronic Skincare Range. This cream is very versatile when it comes to being your skin savior when your skin is at its worst! I honestly don't use this daily, but I must say that I do see improvements on my skin even when im applying this on alternate days. The cream offers 3 layers of Hyaluronic acid to help your skin restore while giving moisturizing benefits while protecting the damaged skin with its intensified Centella extract for a powerful soothing effect. I have oily-combination skin, so this may be a little too creamy for my skin, but i do love applying it onto my skin since I do have acne scars which I noticed recovers better when I apply this cream. 

SNP Cicaronic Daily Mask

We all know that masking at least once a week is crucial when it comes to pampering the skin. Sometimes 15 minutes of a break with a mask on is all it takes for your skin to take a break and recover on its own. I can tell you that your skin would rejuvenate better with the SNP Cicaronic Daily Mask if youre using this every week. One of the days last week, I went jogging earlier than usual and somehow got myself a little sunburned from the sun, so I decided that it was a good time to give this mask a go. This mask moisturizes, restores and has high content of Centella Asiatica Extract to soothe sensitive and irritated skin making it gentle enough even when your skin is crying for help. The mask is very soft and pro-tip, it feels even better when you leave it in the fridge before applying it on.

As a verdict, I would say that im hooked on the skincare range without any biased opinion from anyone. I've tried it and I love the results that it gave to my skin. I would say that before I used this skincare range, my skin had dark pigmentations from acne scars, dry skin on certain parts and usually it looks pretty tired. But after using the SNP Cicaronic Skincare Range, my skin feels more energized and lively. I noticed that my skin was smoother and that my acne scars healed faster than usual. There's really no negative reactions by my skin, and im pretty happy with it overall. The Cleanser, Toning Essence, Soothing Cream, and Ampoule are priced at RM79.90 and the mask is priced at RM9.90/mask which I think is really reasonably priced for real quality ingredients that provide actual results.
