Heelbowtok Review // Althea Korea

The Heelbow Tok
Don't you hate those ugly flaky cracks you get around your elbow and heel? If you do, here would be the solution to remove those while and harden flaky skin. I managed to get my hands on the Heelbow Tok from althea.kr to find out if this really does the trick. Well, if you're wondering with me, do read on to find out.

Comes in a tube of 30ml
A little introduction on the product, its called the Heelbow tok which acts as an essence for dry or rough skin, specifically the elbow or foot. It's made in Korea, and if you noticed, it's also has a cute tagline that says its mom's solution (super cute tagline). The Heelbow tok comes in a 30ml tube, and what fascinates me the most would be that it doesn't require to get your hands dirty. Cause really, who wants their hands to get dirty when they have the option not to?

Instructions in Korean
Spongy knob applicator
If you can read Korean, congratulations cause the instructions on the box are all written in Korean.  But if you don't, thankfully you're here to read the guidelines on how to use this product. It claims that in just 1 minute a day, this Heelbow Tok would exfoliate, hydrate and repairs the skin all at once. Too good to be true? There's only one way to find out! It comes with a spongy knob at the end to control the amount of liquid within it to secrete onto your dry skin areas.

Before applying the Hellbowtok
Decided to test this out on my mom's heel (since its called mom's solution), and I found that the Heelbow Tok works like a charm! I'm not sure about you, but I think most of us wished we don't have flaky hard skin on our heels. Without proper care, the condition of your heel might get worst! This happens because our heel is lacking moisture, its hard for skin to exfoliate naturally, and it happens frequently to those who love wearing heels which end up stressing the heel skin. But now, we have the heelbow tok to save the day, there's absolutely nothing to worry about.

During application
Before and after shot (taken after 1 minute after applying)
All you need to do is to "tok tok tok" around the heel area, and a moisturizing serum will lightly cover the heel area which provides moisturizing benefits. It also releases a baby powder scent which I believe gets rid of unpleasant foot odor. And from the image above, I guess you can pretty tell how well it works, and it definitely took less than a minute. So if you have a tight schedule to follow each day, 1 minute is all you need to achieve flawless heels, literally.

Do you have dry elbow's?
Heelbow Tok is to solution to that too!
Managed to try it our on my elbow too and believe me, I was amazed how it takes less than a minute to get my elbow to look well moisturized (refer to before/ after image above). I love that the product is reasonably priced on Althea.kr which makes it a plus point! Now everyone can have nicer elbows and heels. All you need to do is to 'tok tok tok' and you're already on your way to flawless elbows and heels. As a verdict after a week of using this, with 1 minute a day, I realized that my heel and elbow appearance is so much better than before. Well, that's all for now. Imperial Chakri Palace // Royal Thai Cuisine Buffet

During this fasting season, its likely that you would be craving for your favorite dishes. So  if youre looking for a place to break your fast, why not check out Chakri Palace, a Royal Thai cuisine located in KLCC, within the heart of Kuala Lumpur. If you’re craving for delicious thai food, this would be the place to be! I’ll further elaborate on the menu’s that they have to offer, and I’ll let you be the judge to determine how wide their options are.

Before proceeding to the dishes, I have to highlight the fact that the setting of the layout makes you feel as if you’ve been transported to Thailand instantly from KLCC. With decorations, and pictures of Thailand’s famous landmarks being hung up on the wall, the ambiance does give me an impact of feeling as if im in a Royal Palace in Thailand. There are plenty of seats available within the restaurant, and the best part would be that they serve an array of unlimited Thai cuisines to celebrate the festive Ramadhan season, buffet style.

So im guessing that if youre here to find out on their range of dishes, you have come to the right place! From Appetizers, Salads, Main dishes and desserts, their array of dishes is fit to serve a king. To Thai cuisines lovers, you would be happy to just be here and to break your fast with delicious Thai food for Iftar.

As appetizers, they have the classic Thai Papaya Salad, just to get your tastebuds drooling over Thai food and other salad that you might have not heard before, but famous among Thai locals. I know I haven’t heard of salads like Wing Bean Salad, but I find the taste rather interesting with the thai style of spice. They also have Mee Krob, a thai crispy Fried Noddle snack and more, for those who love Thai snacks.

If you like your meal to be serve in courses, you can also head on over to their Tom Yam & Satay stall, where you can have an option between the Spicy Tom Yum or Clear Soup Tom Yum with your choice of contents. YUMS! I have to say that this was my favourite among everything else, just because im a sucker for soup. Next to the stall, there is also a Live station where you can get your fresh grilled seafood to be served to you, just the way you like it. I don’t know about you, but I love my grilled to be served hot.

And for buffet array of main course, we had an option of biryani rice, stir fried mee hoon, Stir Fried Bean Curd with Thai Basil Leaves and Fresh Chili, Chicken Kapitan, Prawn with Butter Sauce, Lamb with Black Pepper Sauce, Massaman Beef, Stir Fried Chicken with Sweet and Sour Sauce, Steam Fish with Lime and Chili, Mixed Vegetable, Samosa, and more! I’ll be honest that the most memorable dish served was the Steam Fish with Lime and Chili. That was by far my favourite dish among the rest! (and just to warn you, it was a favourite among many who had their dinner there). Be sure to be the early bird once you see it.

What a meal without desserts?! In my dictionary, a meal is complete when you get the chance to wash everything down with some sweet delights. They have a choice of Red bean in Coconut Syrup, Banana in Coconut Syrup, Red Ruby (MY FAVOURITE), Steamed Sweet tapioca, Sticky Rice with Egg Custard, Mango Sticky Rice, and more! I would list everything out for you, but its just getting my cravings crave for moreee. Haha.

As a verdict, I would say that the food is authentically Thai and I love the variety of dishes that were served at the buffet. The buffet is price at RM91.90 for adults, and RM47.90 for children between 6 to 12 years old and for citizens above 56 years old. So yes guys, there you have it!  For more details, you can always head on over to berbuka.chakri.com.my to get booking done instantly, to avoid disappointments. Just to let you know, the menu changes 3 times a week, just to provide variety to customers. I’ve attached the image above for your reference if youre interested in the menu.
