Im back again for yet another review on Bausch+Lomb contact lenses, and today i'll be sharing with you a little review of the Bausch+Lomb Lacelle Jewel. If you have been keeping up with my blog post, i've written about my first time experience of wearing contact lenses! And trust me when you get used to using contact lenses, it occasionally becomes like a beauty enhancer on days you don't exactly feel like wearing exessive make up. Whats in the box?

In my previous write up on contact lenses, i was talking about disposable contact lenses, so this time around, i decided to try out the Bausch+Lomb Lacelle Jewel soft contact lenses in Amber Brown for this blogpost. It comes in a shocking pink box which contains 2 individual soft contact lenses which i was told are reusable and advisable to be used for a maximum of 1 month with a condition that the contact lenses are well-taken care off each time it has been used.

Tried and Tested

I've tried and tested the Bausch + Lomb Lacelle Jewel soft contact lenses and i have to admit that it was a little tricky to apply as the contact lenses are slightly bigger than my chinese blood eyes, since im wearing this for the first time,  but all is good once you get used to it. I've tested and worn this to work since 8am to 10pm to find out that it doesnt dry my eyes out.  But it got a little dry at about 10.30pm, thus i wouldnt advise you to wear this over 12 hours in a day. I was also getting compliments on my eyes looking bigger than usual by my colleagues. Such a conversation started!

Whats the difference?

Since i got a little curious on what i look like with and without the contact lenses. I mean like, how can you not wonder especially when your contact lenses are in brown and when you have brown eyes. What possible can be any different? And i guess from the image above, it pretty much tells that contact lenses does make you eyes look ever more attractive by adding a slight flare each time you wink. Hehe. And i guess from the looks of it, my eyes do look a little bigger and at the same time, leaving my eyes looking natural despite wearing contact lenses.

Conclusion

What are my thoughts on the Bausch+Lomb Lacelle Jewel?

As a conclusion, i would have to say that i have to admire the comfort of the Bausch+Lomb Lacelle Jewel range which i've experienced throughout the day. It has a unique lace pattern which blends really well with your pupil to leave a very natural finish to your eyes. It comes in other colours as well, but i like to stick it to natural tones so that it wouldnt attract too much attention. It comes in different powers to suit different levels of eyesight which i think is great for those who find it uncomfortable to wear glasses. After you're done using your contact lens, just a friendly reminder to always wash it with Renu Fresh and store it in a proper contained to prolong its usage.

COMFORT LEVEL

Definitely in my daily routine after i shower each day

I dont know about you guys, but some deodorants to me are a huge no no, especially when it makes my underarm feels too dry or too sticky, both making me feel uncomfortable. I've been using the  Nivea Protect & Care range, and surprisingly the results are satisfying! With the existance of Nivea Protect & Care Deodorants, i wont have to worry about feeling uncomfortable as it actually keeps my underarm feeling fresh and free from stinkiness! An easy descrption to describe it would be that its like cream in a form of deodorant. 

I dont think its entirely impossible for me to do a 48 hour test without showering for 2 days, but i would have to say that the deodorant keeps up with me really well with my busy schedule. After showering in the morning, i would apply a sufficient amount of deodorant and i'll head off to work. After work, i would usually either go to the gym or to ballet class, and surprisingly, without showering, i would have to say that despite all the sweat, i still smell good enough to go out for dinner. Hehe. Deodorants to me which can last after all the sweat i produce, its impressive in terms of long lasting and comfort. The Nivea Protect & Care would definitely be highly recomended by me. 

VERDICT 

And here is what i have to say about the Nivea Protect & Care Deodorants

As a verdict, i would have to say that the Nivea Protect & Care is by far the most impressive formulation that i've tested from this very day. Even my sister is using Nivea Protect & Care after she found out that im using is (not bias). Hehe. Between the roll-on and spray bottle, a little comment that i would share would be that the bottle spray is more convenient for light daily routines, but if you want an extra boost of freshness to last you longer, i would use the roll-on bottle. The fragrance has a light pastel purple shade with a soft mysterious scent that would guarantee to make any women feel fresh, sexy, gentle and seductive (or at least, that would be the character I would describe).

Next would be a review on the Avon Homme Exclusive which features a woody scent with grapefruit and spices you leave any man feeling luxurious and powerful. I'm not too sure on how to describe the perfume on a men perspective, but from a female side of it, I actually find the scent rather attractive as its very masculine. Despite the scent being labeled as woody aromatic, the scent actually moves towards a fresh fragrance to bring out the confidence of a man to last throughout the day. I would imagine this scent to be on James bond if you ask me. Hehe.

VERDICT

My thoughts on the Homme and Femme Exclusive?

My overall thoughts on the new range would be that I love it! Both fragrances compliment each other really well, and to have this in a pair makes it the perfect power fragrance to flaunt your confidence, the feel of luxury, glamour, and class. I would highly recommend these scents to be as a night out fragrance, but really, I also find it suitable to be used on a casual day or on a red carpet night. Fragrances that can be used during the day and night are a plus point to me, and if you're looking for a scent that would be versatile enough to last you throughout the day, you should really get a sniff of this. For the retail price, I would say that this would be an 'exclusive' deal to be scoring a bottle of the Femme and Homme Exclusive fragrance for less than RM105 per bottle.

I love how its gentle on the skin, leaving no irritation on stingy feels to the skin and I have to say that it leaves my skin feeling refreshed after every wash. LOVE! Perfect enough for acne prone skin.

Next would be the Tea Tree Hydrator. The Tea Tree Hydrator is specifically formulated to replenish and hydrate without increasing oiliness. Being the main ingredient Tea Tree Oil, it acts as an antiseptic and acts as an anti-inflammatory property to help reduce redness and irritation. It also contains Chamomile extract which plays an important role of soothing and softening the complexion. Upon application, I love how it feels like a water base moisturizer the fact that it eliminates bacteria on the skin surface to prevent acne and other skin irritations too. To me it's like a multi-functional cream that has been designed to suit acne/normal skin that provides hydration.

TEA TREE ACNE GEL 15g

Tea Tree Acne Gel

The Tea Tree Acne Gel would be the ideal acne gel that helps you to get rid of stubborn acne on the skin. And ladies, I'm sure you know very well on what I'm talking about. With Tea Tree Oil and Willow Bark Extract infused in this gel, it helps to cleanse and improve acne. This product also contains Tocopherol, which is a type of Vitamin E that acts as a natural skin conditioning agent and antioxidants to help slow down the degeneration of skin cells and at the same time promotes cellular renewal and skin elasticity.

Comes in mini tube, and you wont need that much for each application

I admire the idea that it comes in a small 15g tube, making it easy to bring around in my handbag. I tell you, I'm not kidding when I say that this tube is a tube of miracles! I had a really stubborn acne the other day, and after about 2 days from first-day application, my acne minimized by 70% of its size making it less visible. LIFE SAVIOUR ITEM HERE GAIS! In case you're wondering, to use, all you need to do is to apply a small amount to affected area and its safe to be used 1-2 times daily.

We all know that when you have acne skin, it's never encouraged to go for a scrub cleanser. But this is by far the first scrub cleanser that has been designed to suit acne skin. The Tea Tree Face Scrub & Mask is a gentle, creamy face scrub & mask that is infused with fine grains of Tea Tree Leaf and Lychee Shell which gently polish away dead skin and impurities. It also helps to stimulate circulation to reveal a smoother and brighter skin too. It also contains Kaolin Clay and Licorice Extract that functions to absorb excess oil while bringing clarity back to skin complexion.

Texture: It has mini beads that i would say is gentle on the skin

If you are unsure if its safe to scrub, then use it as a mask and leave it on for 10 minutes

I'm not usually a fan of scrubs, as overusing it just irritates the skin unintentionally, but this is the first time that I've heard that a cleanser can function as a scrub and a mask at the same time. It's like a 2 in 1 cleanser to me! I usually apply this to clean and moist skin, 1-2 times weekly where you can use it as a scrub, or leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing well. This is suitable for normal, dry, oily and combination skin type making it my top recommendation to those who want to prevent acne.

TEA TREE OIL 10ml

Tea Tree Oil, Pure Essentail

And last but not least would be the Tea Tree Oil. One thing I love about pure essential oil is that it can be used for any occasion as long as you're creative enough to think out of the box. Did you know that Tea Tree Oil is ideal for insect bites, stings, cuts, and abrasions? Not only that it helps to kill germs, but also aids in reducing acne and cell growth too.

I went hiking over the weekend, and its pretty hard to avoid insect bites when you're in the jungle. The minute I got home, I decided to apply 1-2 drops on the bitten area and noticed that it did reduce the swelling. YAY! Will always keep in mind to bring this out to the jungle during my next hiking trip. hehe

And i can proudly say that i love the range 

As you can see, clear results can be seen within 2 weeks! 

As a verdict, I've been using the range on my skin for the past two weeks and noticed that my acne did reduce by a lot. I even started seeing results within the first week! Reviewing the MYC Skincare

Good morning, have y'all are having a good week ahead. If you are looking for customised handmade goods (handmade soaps to be more specific) or just basically anything that's handmade with love, well let me tell you a thing or two about MYC Skincare. REVIEWING: RUSTIC BASIL MINT SOAP

Basil Mint Body Soap / RM25

Here I have for review for today's post would be one of their newly launched Basil Mint body soap which I have to say smells heavenly! The bar was personally sent over to me which I think it was really sweet of the talented soap maker to come all the way. The bar soap came with no plastic packaging (super eco-friendly) and it was really cute that it was wrapped in brown paper with a small handwritten note that states the type of bar soap, the weight and the pricing of the soap. It's always good to see handmade items being made entirely handmade cause you'll eventually know that they've taken so much effort to produce this.

Loving the texture of it

Anyways, it's always more exciting to find out how these soaps were made and since I had the privilege to get to meet the soapmaker in person she was kind enough to spend some of her time to explain to me. To make the Rustic Basil Mint Soap, the soap maker had to cook the soap batter for almost an hour, with constant supervision (cause we wouldn't want it to be overcooked). The batter is split into half, naturally coloured in each of the portions by Activated Charcoal and Yellow Clay, to make sure its refreshing, cleansing and moisturising. Just the characteristics any bar soap should have!

Foams really well too!

The idea of handmade products is that I love that how each bar soap has its own unique build. Perfect squares or rectangled bar soaps are boring, and looking at mine really makes me appreciate the shape more. I was told that it contains Olive Oil and Coconut Oil to moisturise and nourish the skin, while the yellow clay ingredients are recommended for all skin types as it's restorative for tired and neglected skin (indeed what I need desperately), and the activated charcoal ingredients acts as a detoxing agent for the skin. Basil Mint Essential oil fights bacteria and infection, reducing inflammation, preventing radical damages, viruses and relieves congestion. I honestly never knew what a bar of soap can do until the soap maker told me. Makes me feel that handmade bar soaps are being taken for granted nowadays :(

With the bubble pouch it lathers really well

OH before I forget, every bar soap bought comes with a bubble pouch which helps to foam up your bar, but if you prefer receiving your bar soap without the bubble pouch, you can always request to not include it in your parcel. As a verdict, I would say that this handmade soap is well made to cleanse, moisturise and indeed de-stressing thanks to the refreshing aroma. This would definitely be a great gift to get for someone close or maybe might as well get it for yourself at RM25 for 100g! I'd say that its really reasonable as a bar would roughly last me a month or two. Hehe
