MY REVIEW


Being my first time having to insert a syringe down there, I was a little worried about getting it all wrong, and the thought of injecting venom into it, yikes it freaks me out! But after doing a little research of my own on Cobrotoxin, it did give me the reassurance that I needed to be brave enough to give it a go. After all, every venom can create an anti-venom antidote as well. When injecting it in, it actually doesn't feel like anything other than gel-cream is present. But of course, make sure hygiene is well taken care of, and in my case, I applied this at night to reduce any movements to fully benefit from the serum. 

I initially face a problem where it's pretty much very dry most of the time, and of course, the occasional incontinence which leaks out and there was a stingy feeling each time that happens, which would be due to the dryness I believe. When I woke up the next day, my intimate felt pretty normal, but post 2 weeks, I notice that my incontinence was gone (please note it's mild incontinence due to labor), and the intimate area felt moister without leaving any bad odor. I'm pretty satisfied with the post-trial of this, and if you ask me if I would recommend this to anyone? I would say yes! It may be a little bit high when it comes to pricing, but for the results, hands down, it does what it's meant to do.

POST PARTUM + BREASTFEEDING

I'm currently 2 months in the line of postpartum, and I'm also actively breastfeeding my newborn son. Sustainable Living Through 'Waste is Amazing' Fashion Design Competition


Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd (Alam Flora) has taken a proactive stance in continuing its efforts in cultivating the 3R practices (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) with the community through its iconic annual event, WASTE IS AMAZING, a fashion design competition using recyclable materials.

Entering its 9th year, with the theme PAPER COUTURE, this unique fashion competition saw 20 amateur designers from various backgrounds, pitting their unconventional creative designs on recycling virtually, due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) requirements, for the second year around.

“This year’s competition, amidst the various restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, still received favourable responses with more than 100 entries from all over Malaysia. This clearly shows creativity knows no boundaries and acceptance towards the recycling culture is growing stronger especially with the younger generation,” said Dato Mohd Zain Hassan.

“The selection of paper as the main material in this year's fashion design is indeed appropriate, as study done by National Solid Waste Management Department (JPSPN) had shown that paper is the third largest contributor of waste in the country, after food waste and plastic.”

“It also augurs well with the government's aspiration to reduce 40% of the recyclable waste from being sent to landfills by 2025. To help achieve this, Alam Flora has intensified its efforts of going beyond waste management by helping to cultivate a recycling culture among Malaysians, and ‘Waste is Amazing' is one of our initiatives. So, we can now look at waste from a positive perspective,” said Dato Mohd Zain.

The hour-long colourful and exciting virtual event, saw the judges, which include renowned designer Hatta Dolmat and singer, Sissy Iman, having a great yet tough time in selecting the winners based on the criteria set by Alam Flora. The competition was broadcast live on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram Alam Flora, and was seen by netizens across Malaysia and around the world where the issue of distance and border- crossing, are no longer an obstacle.

The first winner of the WASTE IS AMAZING 2021 FASHION DESIGN COMPETITION: PAPER COUTURE took home RM1,000.00 cash, 10 thousand Petronas Mesra reward points, a special edition Alam Flora tiffin and an e-certificate of participation. While the second winner will receive RM800.00 cash, 5 thousand Petronas Mesra reward points, Alam Flora special edition tiffin and e-certificate. Uniqlo's Outerwear & Fllece with Uniqlo X White Mountaineering


Global apparel retailer UNIQLO just recently announced the launch of "UNIQLO and White Mountaineering," as the first collaboration with the global Japanese brand White Mountaineering. Outerwear and fleece have long been representative product categories for UNIQLO making it perfect for Malaysian's who are mountaineering enthusiasts looking for the perfect attire to enjoy the outdoors. This distinctive collection featuring the outdoor essence characteristic of White Mountaineering is presented as a new adaptation of LifeWear, with further advancements in functionality and design. Items will be available in Malaysia from Friday, October 15.

"I gave a lot of thought to my ideals as a designer and how to utilize the detailing for outdoor items and sportswear I'd developed at White Mountaineering for UNIQLO wear, which is worn by all sorts of people," says designer Yosuke Aizawa. "Designing clothing around the premise that 'people move' is one of my principles, so I carefully considered patterns and designs that wouldn't add stress when worn. I believe we've created a line of new everyday wear that can be worn in any setting."

Clothing as a common language for everyone


This new collaboration firmly merges the theme of family, embraced by White Mountaineering's designer Yosuke Aizawa, with the UNIQLO concept of LifeWear that is made for all. The nine items for men, women, and kids have been created to be a common language for everyone. Building on designs that the entire family can wear, the collection uses silhouettes and colors to suit any setting, making the most of the strengths of both brands. I would have to say that Uniqlo has done it again when it comes to keeping their designs minimal and versatile. This gives everyone the freedom to be creative with their existing outfits and I admire that so much from the collection. 

About The Items


The UNIQLO Hybrid Down, a new generation outerwear featuring a combination of down and cotton padding, is available for both men and women. The men's Parka features a double zip on the front which is an icon of White Mountaineering, while the women's style has a more relaxed silhouette, incorporating a distinctive back design suggestive of a cape. The Fleece Jacket, created by layering two types of fleece fabric, is finished in a military style to match urban fashion and appeals to both men and women. Kids items, which is a first for Aizawa, utilize the same basic designs as for adults, while including details that younger wearers will love, such as a structure at the neck that makes the coats easier to put on and take off, presented in playful blue and red colors.

White Mountaineering - Yosuke Aizawa


Born in 1977. Graduating from Tama Art University with a degree in textile design, in 2006 he started White Mountaineering, which since 2016 has released collections at Paris Fashion Week. Aizawa has designed for a variety of overseas brands. He is also a visiting professor at Tama Art University.
