Unboxing my July Cubecrate box

Hey guys, i present to you CubeCrate's July 2017 Box and this time around the box seems a little heavy. Hehe. Im a little excited this for July's mystery subscription box because i would like to consider it as my birthday box from CubeCrate since im getting it during my birthday month. Hehe. I cant believe that CubeCrate has really gone a long way from the beginning, but i see them actually going strong with orders still being as active as ever! YAY!

Now as usual, i would like to spill the details on whats the featured items in this months mystery subscription box! This month surprisingly has a really cue picnic theme box as mentioned in the pamplet and it features 4 brands namely Oishi Green Tea, Tinkerberry Natural Body Treat, Kon'nichiwa and amoura Scarlett. Looks like im ready for a picnic getaway this weekend. Hehe.

OISHI GREEN TEA

Oishi Green Tea anyone?

I dont think i need an introduction to Oishi as they've been very much well known for providing really good green tea especially when you're on the go. I would usually grab a bottle from convenient stores when im craving for one, and i appreciate that CubeCrate included a bottle of Oishi Green Tea in this months box. Since one bottle wont be enough, I'm thankful that CubeCrate actually gave me the idea of what would be the perfect drink to surprise my guest during my picnic soon to plan reunion. hehe.

TINKERBERRY Natural Body Treat

Next would be a little something from Tinkerberry Natural Bath & Body Treats. It has been described to produce dessert inspired range of bath and body products which has been carefully crafted with the finest organic ingredients without any preservatives or chemicals. I believe that in todays era, it is indeed a trend to introduce non harmful products which im all in to support.  TINKERBERRY is a new brand to me, and i managed to check out what other items they have on their site. Psst: Price is really reasonable!

I got myself a Deep Moisture Therapy lip balm that contains shea and rose as the main ingredient. A personal thought on the lip balm is that I have to say that I love the fact that it has raw colors and when applied it not at all feels sticky! #perksofhandmadeproducts. It's actually VERY MOISTURISING without leaving my lips feeling uncomfortable, and truth be told, this is now in my handbag for daily moisturizing. hehe.

I also got myself some sweet treats from Rackun.Kiss. I believe that they bake japanese inspired desserts and im assuming that they are very new in the industry. Their cookies were surprisingly really good and im in hopes to order more for ocassions! I hope CubeCrate would collaborate with them once again for some goodness and i really hope theres a special code for first time orders from Rakun.Kiss. They really have potential. AHHH! I actually feel lucky to have a bag of cookies in being available in my CubeCrate mystery subscription box. hehe.

AMORA SCARLETT

Last but not least would be one of the highlighted items found in my July Box from Amora Scarlett! Amoura Scarlett is famous for their array of eyewear collection which ranges from classics to edgy desings to cater to any style preferrences. I managed to scroll through their instagram account, and im already eyeing on another eyepiece from them. LAV! So i warn you, keep your card on standby if youre planning to browse through their online store. hehe

Got myself their Yellow Lens Aviator with Gold Frame worth RM112.90 which comes with a custom leather pouch exclusively by Amora Scarlett! Never really thought this existed anymore as i would consider this design rather rare being it a classic design for aviators. Way to go by bringing back the classics into trend! Im also amazed that it has my name written on their leather pouch! THANK YOU CUBECRATE for making it possible! AHHH! But its also thanks to you, i'd be spending more on shades from Amora Scarlett.

And thats about it! I personally LOVE July's 2017 mystery subscription box as it features 75% of new brands that i've never heard of, but i have imediate love for once i got a taste of it. This month's box has been really exciting and it has triggered me to plan a picnic with my friends. YAY! Time to start planning and thanks for the idea CubeCrate. I have to say that my favourite item of all in this box would be the Amora Scarlett. Hehe. Cause honey, you can never have enough shades in life. I believe that i also got an Aloe Vera Natural Soothing Gel as a gift from CubeCrate as a bonus item. So tadaa! Thank you CubeCrate and thanks to you for reading my humble unboxing post. Unboxing my CubeCrate April 2017 box

Its mid-may and just in time, my April 2017 CubeCrate box just arrived in front of my doorstep! There are so many reasons why I love subscribing to CubeCrate. One, the fact that you get super random things every month. Two, getting what you need every month without you realizing that CubeCrate actually did you a favor! hehe. From the looks of it, I think this box features a medical theme box.

From the pamphlet, the featured brands for this box would be Whoosh eyewear, GetDoc+, the ps|love company and Yu Yee Oil. I'm familiar with whoosh eyewear and Yu Yee Oil but the other two I'm actually looking forward to going in-depth to find out what they have and the services they provide. I think on normal days, even when we're sick, truth be told that we never want to admit that we're actually not ok right? So with the April 2017 box, I think its time to step up our game by being aware of how we can take care ourselves.

Our next featured brand would be the ps|love company. For a second there I thought it has something to do with love, but surprisingly it's actually something for the ladies who are suffering from menstrual cramps. COOLIO! The brand innovated a 100% natural and portable heating patch a.k.a the MenstruHeat, that heats up almost like magic, to provide relief to ladies who fell abdominal pain during that 'special' time of the month. Will be doing a separate blog post on this cause it sounds super exciting to talk about it. Hehe. Will link it below this paragraph once the blog post is out.

Yu Yee Oil

The Yu Yee Oil is usually known as most Asian baby oil, I guess. Hehe. I'm aware of the existence of Yu Yee Oil because I practically grew up with it. But if you haven't heard about it, well, its a herbal medicated ointment with sweet peppermint smell and it's used traditionally to relief winds and bloated problems that are gentle enough for babies as well. Hehe. Honestly speaking, this is one of a must-have when im at home as it does relief a lot of pain especially when you're feeling bloated and uncomfortable.

And last but not least would be something from Whoosh Eyewear! I dont know about you, but I recently went to their launch in Sunway Pyramid earlier this year and I swear their collections are urban chic! In conjunction with the box being a medical theme, I'm assuming the whoosh eyewear encourages you to take care of your eyesight. In my case, I'm thinking about getting new sunnies from Whoosh Eyewear to prevent harsh UV rays from attacking directly to my eyes. hehe. WOOTS! And since I got myself an RM30 cash voucher, I guess it's time to drop by my nearest Whoosh Eyewear store to get myself a pair of proper sunnies.

So there you have it! As a conclusion, I would say that I actually like the idea of getting theme boxes each month from CubeCrate. Despite not being a fan in the field of medical stuff, just getting a box of it really helps me in understanding the importance of taking care of myself. Hehe. Who really knew that a subscription box could teach you a thing or two in life? And just to welcome April, my cubecrate for March 2017 is here! I know this may be a delayed post, but I would like to share with you on what I got from the March CubeCrate box. Surprisingly, this time around, they have turned the March box as a sleeping theme box. How exciting! I guess with CubeCrate, it's a hint for me to always get enough sleep despite working so hard. Boohoo.

So in the March 2017 box, we have 4 featured brands namely Candlenuts by Nadia (One of my favs from cubecrate so far), HowSmooth, J&E Botanicals and The Tea Republic. Now, I noticed that some are repeated featured brands, but since it's a different box, they offered something a little more different compared to getting repeated items. YAY! Now here's a tiny review on what I got.

First up is Candlenuts by Nadia! After about 2-3 boxes of receiving items from this brand, I must say that I have grown really attached as it has really de-stressed me at home thanks to its therapeutic candles that I would usually light up in my room when I'm feeling stressed. Candlenuts by Nadia are different than your usual candles because they use palm wax, which is better for the environment. I received a special edition candle in a shot-sized cup and I must say it smells amazing! I'm assuming that its special edition because it has unique shapes that pop's up in 3D to make it look fancier, thus it's no doubt to say that I love it.

Next would be something new as this is my first time hearing about HowSmooth. What is HowSmooth you may wonder? Well, HowSmooth specializes in handmade soaps and body care products. Upon first impression, I'd say that the packaging is rather impressive, the fact that it's sealed. BRAVO HowSmooth! In my box, I received a sleepy rub and it contains coconut oil, cocoa butter, beeswax, essential oil of lavender and frankincense. I managed to give it a try, and just a few rubs of the product around your nose, I have instantly relaxed that it made me felt like sleeping.

Ps: good to use when you have troubles sleeping / bad to use when you need to get work done. Hehe.

Next would be something from J&E Botanicals where the brand believes in providing a better lifestyle without toxic and synthetic chemicals. Got myself one of their handmade body lotions which I currently love to use when im indoors. It's cooling and therapeutic to calm the soul and mind. This is safe to be used at any time of the day, and I admit that it works well as a de-stresser too. Once my tub of 20gm finishes, I might be getting more of it from their store perhaps. Hehe.

And our last featured brand for this post would be from thetearepublic. After my first item I received from thetearepublic, I definitely knew that theterepublic will never disappoint. From the quality of their tea's to the taste of it, it's all maintained to be served to perfection! I still have a pack of tea bags from thetearepublic, and for the March 2017 box, I received tea in form of tea balls! New to you? Well, I'd say that these tea balls are rather rare in Malaysia for people like me to find, so I'm excited to test it out! Did you know that tea balls will bloom like a flower once it's placed in hot water?

Thank you CubeCrate   So it looks like the March 2017 Box is all about pampering thyself and encouragement to give yourself a break. Just thinking about getting a break, I swear it has been a while since I pampered myself. (Workaholic issues). Thankfully with CubeCrate, I could skip the shopping experience drama. hehe. Hey y'all. Its time to unbox my September 2016 CubeCrate box and just in case you are unaware, CubeCrate has been filling peoples lifes with mysteries for a year now. And i have to say congratulations to CubeCrate for getting themselves this far. Things has been going on pretty well, with better improvements by their constructive team in always being ever ready for feedback. (Way to go guys! #teamgoals). And can you believe that i've never gotten bored of getting mystery items from CubeCrate. Love surprises? Just subscribe already!

Septembers box is a little heavy than usual, and i assume its because the content of the box contains drinks. In conjunction with health month which falls every September of the year, CubeCrate decides to join in the fun by providing healthy snacks in this months box which i spotted as i took a sneak peak into the contents. Oishi Green Tea

Being a health freak myself, green tea has always been in my monthly diet, especially when it comes to detoxing. Oishi is not something unusual as it happens to be one of my favourite drinks to grab on the go on a hot sunny day. But since its in the box, i do hope those who discover this for the first time would love it as much as i do as its brewed from 100% organic tea leaves, grown on certified organic plantations. Yums~

And i finally found another culprit who contributed into the weight of this month's CubeCrate box, Scoby Farm. I have to say that this would be my favourite mystery of the month as Scoby Farm makes home-made Signature Kombucha with a mission to promote probiotic drinks as a healthy alternative to conventional Soda Drinks. Another healthy treat within the box would be Amazin'graze! I remember seeing them at bazaars and its great to see CubeCrate getting them to contribute into this months CubeCrate box! Amazin'graze uses high quality raw ingredients, local spices and flavours to create fun amazing flavours dancing in your mouth. If you havent tried their snacks before, you better thank CubeCrate for getting them in for you because they taste AMAZING (no wonder their brand name relates to how it taste). And boy, you have no idea how happy i was to find out that i got TWO packs of snacks from my CubeCrate box this month. Holla at cha Cubecrate! Mucho Gracias <3

Next in my box would be 2 sticks of honey from The Honey Hearts. I do recall receiving this in another CubeCrate box earlier this year, and its great to see something so yummy being available in the box again. Hehe. These honey sticks are usually great as a substitute to your sugar for your tea, or you can always enjoy it with waffles or fruits! Not a regular fan of honey? Try use honey in your tea instead and you would not regret.

Another interesting feature i found in the box would be the RecomN.com brochure. According to the brochure, RecomN.com provides services direct to your home, solving problems such as aircon leaking, pipe dripping and even renovations! I decided to visit their site, and boy it was like i hit a home service jackpot! All you could possible ask for to improve your home is there in one website. And just in time too, as i have an aircon leaking in my room, this calls for a service test on RecomN.com.

Waduup waddup, its that time of the month again. And dont ask me why i started this post trying to sound cool, but what matters more would be about my unboxing for CubeCrate's July 2016 box. And just in case you havent heard about Cube Crate, its a monthly mystery subscription box where i'll usually find new discoveries and get to keep new products that are actually pretty amazing to have. So lets do this, can you guess whats in this months box? Here's a clue, inspired by food.

Since its fasting month, i think its really cute that CubeCrate decided to get all the food-inspired products to be featured in CubeCrate's July 2016 box. And if youre wondering what are the featured products this month, its actually by 3 good brands with good reputations, Dirty Benefits, MiniBites accessories and Wunderbath! As usual, if youre reading my previous post on Cube Crate, here i'll be sharing some of my insights on what i think about it.

DIRTY BENEFITS

So first up for review is Dirty Benefits, the skincare for the wild at heart. A little introduction on Dirty Benefits, it's an All-Natual skincare brand created for the bold and adventurous. They've managed to create a journey that stands out, using only the best natural ingredients while standing firm to our beliefs of being cruelty-free. Yes, its all about dirty benefits taking you to awesome skin making it worth it.

What the scrub looks like

Since i've always wanted to try out Dirty Benefits, finally Cube Crate has given me the chance to do so. I think i got a smaller pack than the original full size, but nevertheless, this pack would at least last me for about a month or two, which is good enough to me. It came with a Dirty Benefit spoon which i truely appreciate that they provided it together in the parcel.

The pack comes in a ziplock bag, which i have to say that im a fan of it to ensure that the content stays fresh. And boy, the coffee smell is strong! If youre a coffee lover, i bet you would love how soothing the smell of this pack of coffee scrub can be. I applied some of the scrub to my hand, and gave it a gentle massage and YAS, i approve that it does smoothens out your skin by removing dead cells i preassume. Next in my CubeCrate would be the MiniBites accessories. Dont be fooled by how it looks, cause its not what you think it is. As real as this looks, minibits offers unique food themed jewelery and accessories. Every piece of these are hand-crafted to perfection in KL using polymer clay and vast attention to detail. And boy i think its cute that they decide to gave out kuih lapis MiniBites accessories to match the festive month. I've check them out, and i cant believe that how their mini's are really cute! And last but not least would be Wunderbath, the natural bath revolution. Wunderbath has been no stranger to bazaar goers as they've been really active in making themselves be in the scene. They're known for their ultra realistic soaps that smells exactly like what it appears to be. But again, these soaps are just for the fun of playing tricks with your senses as they're all honestly good handmade soap thats vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, SLSfree and it guranteed to be all natural.

Come on, you have to agree that this Dahlia cookie i got is super cute. As real as this piece of cookie looks, you really have to get a sniff of it while youre at it. Just sniffing on it got me craving for Dahlia cookies. It even has a 'Do Not Eat' sign at the back just to warn you to not eat it. haha.
