Buffet Ramadan Restoran Rebung 2021 | A touch of Heritage

Chef Ismail proudly presenting the Ramadan menu for 2021

Salam Ramadan and i hope everyone has been doing well during this fasting month considering we've almost passed the first week of fasting. To elaborate in todays postings, i've managed to check out Restoran Rebung's Ramadan spread that would get you drooling over the variety that Chef Ismail has to offer. I would say that this would be one of the more affordable buffet below RM100 if youre considering to indulge with close family and friends during berbuka. Now, lets get into the menu.

The classic setting at Restoran Rebung where all the main dishes are located

Being a regular customer myself, i would have to say that if youre a fan of Authentic Malay Cuisine, this is the place for you! Literally there are over 90 types of different dishes to enjoy, from appetizers, to main dishes and not to forget the scrumptious desserts. But if this is your first time thinking of trying out the menu, their highlight dishes are usually the daging salai masak lemak cili api, ikan patin masak tempoyak, pari masak asam pedas, and so much more!

The wide seating area's available

They even have private halls for private functions

Other convenience that the location offers would be that they limit to a 300 pax per time to follow an S.O.P in conjuction to the covid crisis that the world is facing, where each room would be allocated to a limit according to the room size. There will also be the surau for both males and females to catch up with thier prayers after breaking fast, and not to forget there is also a lift, that gurantees to offer services that would be OKU friendly as well. Do take note if youre planning to park there, the rates are RM4.00 per entry and the parking lot would be able to house up to 460 car parks for your convenience.

My favourite section of all, all my favoutires are presented here

Pari Asam Pedas

Patin Masak tempoyak

Ayam Masak Merah

Ikan Cencaru Sambal

Not to forget the Daging Salai Masak Lemak (a must try as well)

The array of desserts for sweet tooths

Ikan Masin to compliment your dishes

The variety of Sambal

Ulam-Ulam Melayu

Sweet drinks + Cendol on the side

Rojak Buah

Daging Gulai Kawah (Yums!)

For 2021, if youre not planning to go out, but still want to enjoy the taste of Chef Ismail, fret not as they are now available via Food Panda offering 5 new 'ready-to-eat' products namely their sambal bilis, sambal udang kering, acar buah, sambal belacan and sambal tempoyak that would compliment any dish that youre digging into. Psst, if foodpanda doesnt cover your area, then your best alternative would be via Shopee. *wink

Freshly made roti jala and sweet treats

And while youre there, dont forget to catch Chef Ismail as he's usually around the restaurant

Just keep on filling your plate until its full

And i had my fair share of my favorites as well. hehe

Be sure to make reservations to avoid dissapointments

To close up my review for today, the price for the Ramadan buffet for 2021 would be RM84.80 nett per adult, and RM53.00 nett per child who are (5-7 years old). I would say for the wide spread, the price is definitely worth it! All the food being prepared by a chefs recipe, i can gurantee no dissapointments. Be sure to make reservations to avoid disappointment as i've been hearing that the turn over is very good that its most likely packed on weekends with the restaurant being fully booked. The Ramadan buffet will run from 13th April till 11th May 2021, and to make reservations, you may call their restaurant number at 03-2276 3535.
