Marathon enthusiast, time to step up your game cause i present to you 'Run For Your Lives'. Its a game of flag tag set in the world of a zombie apocalypse, making a return to Malaysia this December 31st 2016 at Taman Botani Putrajaya. The marathons concept began in the US back in 2011 and has sucessfully attracted participants from all around the world, making it possible for them to spread to other cities which includes Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Time to test out on how brave you are

The idea of the run is out of the ordinary where runners of the marathon will experience a zombie apocalypse, taking over the world caused by an unknown virus. Participants may choose to run as a survivor (human) or as a zombie. If youre up for the gameplay, the idea of the run is basically that humans will have to outrun the zombies before they catch the humans. Trilling no?

Here are some tips on how to avoid the zombies

To reach the safe zone, it definitely wont be easy. Other than zombies, there will be various obstacles to overcome and there will be three story modes to enhance the zombie apocalype experience. With the works of technology and gamifiation, Run For Your Lifes works towards its goal of making exercise fun, helping participants encounter a new experience while reaping the joys and benefits of getting active.

So what are you waiting for? Early bird registration can be done on http://secure.monkeytheory.asia/event/Run-For-Your-Lives-Malaysia from Saturday, October 1st while payments can be made via credit/debit card and online banking. So once you've registered, participants will be given a choice to run as a Survivor or a Zombie, which provides different entitlements.

Hey guys, I'm here writing to share with you about my shopping experience on Hermo via Molpay Cash! We all know that Hermo is one of the biggest beauty sites in Malaysia that sells all your beauty needs in a click of a button. And whats even better? They now have MolPay Cash as a payment option, which makes it super convenient to shop when it comes to making payment. What does this mean? It means that if you have no credit/visa card, NO PROBLEM, just opt to pay via Molpay Cash for a quick and hassle free payment method.

INTRODUCTION TO MOLPAY CASH

So if youre unfamiliar with Molpay cash, well let me tell you a thing or two about Molpay Cash. Molpay Cash is basically is a payment option for those who are concern with safety or unable to pay by card. And with MolPay Cash, it enables you to pay to a secured store and reports your payment instantly once payment has been made. If they had this system during my student days, i would be the happiest girl with all the beauty products i need. (Because back then, i didn't exactly have a card nor trusted payment via deposit machine to secure the payment).

STEP 1 | SHOP

So the first step is pretty simple for any shopaholic to follow, shop and pick the items that you want to buy by adding it to your cart. And in my case, I decided to purchase the Sleek MakeUp Eyeshadow Palette in Original, the Pony MemeBox Shine Easy Glam Eyeshadow Palette, and the Face Shop Daily Perfumed Hand Cream. FYI, did you know that for every purchase of 2 items, you are entitled to free shipping? Thats why we all love hermo! *wink

STEP 2 | CHECK CART

Once you're happy with your selected items, hover to the top right will have a tab 'My Cart' and it will show you a summary of your selected items that you are purchasing. Easy no? Click check out, and it will lead you to a new page of a summary of your purchases for double confirmation with the total amount to be paid at the bottom of the page. Once you have no second thoughts of purchasing more items, click 'Check out Now'.

STEP 3 | SELECT PAYMENT METHOD

Now for the important part! How do i get to the Molpay Cash payment selection? Hermo may require you to select a payment option but fret not if you don't see the word Molpay Cash! What i did was that i selected the credit/debit payment option, and it lead me to another secure online payment page. On the Secured payment page, click the payment options, then select 7Eleven.

Once selecting the 7Eleven payment option, it will then change your payment option and be sure that you see the molpay cash and 7Eleven logo (refer to above) to be sure that you've selected the right payment option. If you're satisfied with the total amount payable, click 'proceed' and it will confirm your payment option and record it to Hermo's database. A bar code and reference number is then generated for you to proceed with payment.

STEP 4 | MAKING PAYMENT via MOLPAY CASH

Now for the fun part! You will also receive an email stating your cash payment receipt to be paid. In my case, i didnt exactly have time to print it out, so i went hunting for a 7Eleven that provides the Molpay Cash service and just showed my email to the cashier. BE VERY SURE that the 7Eleven that youre heading to has the MolPay Cash logo to avoid disappointments as not all 7Elevens have this service apparently. I personally had to go to THREE 7Eleven's to get my payment done as some did not have the service, and the other one told me that the system was down. But not to worry, Hermo gave me 48 hours to complete my payment so i had enough time to stop by 7Eleven to make payment.

STEP 5 | PAYMENT CONFIRMATION

And once you've made your way to 7Eleven and made your payment, 7 Eleven will issue you a MOL-MOLPAY receipt and a 7Eleven Receipt. So do expect to get 2 receipts to confirm that you've made payment. I was actually amazed that just after making my payment, i received an email stating that my payment has been approved by Hermo! YAY! (Refer to receipt time 9:30pm and email received time 9:30pm). I have to say that i feel safer paying this way knowing that my payment has been electronically received and guaranteed by Hermo instantly.

STEP 6 | WAIT FOR PARCEL

Parcel arrived!

And youre DONE! Sit back, relax and wait for your parcel to arrive. Its that simple! And its amazing how fast this parcel arrives. I completed my payment on a Thursday night, and got my parcel sent over to my door step on a Saturday morning. How to prevent from getting a heart disease

Did you know that 1 out of 2 Malaysian adults are suffering from high cholesterol? And to make it worst, 42% of Malaysians who have high cholesterol are below the ages of 40 years old. Im 24 this year and it has been confirmed that individuals as young as in their 20s are diagnosed with heart disease. And if you go deeper, cardiovascular disease is usually responsible for one-quarter of hospital deaths.

That’s pretty insane since im considered under the category, thus the reason why im here to spread the awareness by sharing you on ways on how to take care of the heart. I think it’s a big concern that the number of deaths due to heart diseases has increased over the years and I believe that there are ways to prevent heart diseases.

Being Malaysian, I think we all know that we are guilty of having sinful Malaysian delicacies such as Nasi Lemak, Oily Roti Canai, Pisang Goreng, and many more of our mamak dishes that’s usually available around the clock. These are unhealthy habits that we Malaysian have unnoticeably adopted since its always conveniently available almost in any part of the country. Another reason why the statistical numbers of heart diseases are increasing is because we are slowly adapting to a busier lifestyle, which generally leads us to lack of exercise.

If you know me, I think you would know how hectic my lifestyle can be. Especially when im traveling, studying, working and blogging all at one go. Despite being busy all year round, I still take the initiative to get my heart pumping every once in a while (even with a busy schedule). My little secret is simple. You can actually consider doing 10-minute exercises twice a week before heading off to bed, or sign up for marathons.

By going for marathons,  I think it helps me challenge myself to constantly exercise to prevent injuries during the big race. But at the same time, it also helps my heart to stay in good shape. You can start with shorter distances if you're a first timer, otherwise you can also opt to go for long walks in the park after work. Reducing on your cholesterol intake and replacing some of the amounts with fruits and vegies would also help too! So, in my case, instead of snacking on fast food, I would snack on fruits instead.

Heart health care should begin early, so its best that we prevent it than before looking for a cure instead. Just remind yourself to keep a balance diet, practice physical activities and go for regular medical check ups. Alternatively, consuming Nestle Omega Plus milk helps too! It contains sterols that can help lower cholesterol, making it a great drink to drink for those who are always on the go.

I got a lippie balm that came in a plastic lipbalm tube. I assume that they are a new brand in the market as the packaging looked very DIY where the label was sticked with tape to keep it in tack. Nevertheless, i believe that the quality of the product is what matters more to me. The balm is to be used 6 months from the date of purchase and its not recommended for highly sensitive and light pigmented skin. I think its really considerate for them to put fine details on the lip balm labels actually. And after giving it a swipe, i have to say that the balm does keep my lips moisturised on a hot sunny day when my lips are dry. Upon swiping it on my lips, it smoothly glides on my lips leaving a slight cooling sensation, which explains why its called Grapefruit cooler. YAS! Next in my box features an item from ILSA Soap Wagon. The brand is well known for their handmade products which are vegan and never tested on animal which makes it cruelty free. Most of their products are revolved around ingredients like Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil and etc with the aim to provide you only the best benefits for your skin. And despite being famous for their handmade soaps, i got myself an essential oil !

Just because they're famous for their handmade soaps, thats definitely not all that they have to offer. As eager that im tempted to try their soaps, i have to say that im surprised to find out that they sell essential oil's too! I got mine in peppermint, and usually i like to use essential oils in my air diffuser. Or if you like going for body massages, you can also use this too by rubbing over your skin while it moisturizes the skin as you inhale the relaxing aroma of the essential oil. I can actually tell that its made with tender loving care to be given to new owners of it. I think for those who subscribed for CubeCrate boxes, you'll all get random colours of the bow, but im glad i got mine in maroon pink cause it happens to be one of my favourite colour! Hehe.
