Hi guys! Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and an advanced Chinese New Year! To celebrate the New the year of the tiger as a family, we went to check out The King of Grills BBQ Buffet dinner at The Pearl Hotel and here's a little review on what to expect in case youre planning to have an exciting dinner with the family. The pricing per adult would be priced at RM118+ and for Children aged 4-12 years old would be priced at RM58+. If youre looking for a decent dinner with a sky view bbq, read on to find out more!

The location of buffet is located on the 23rd Floor Executive Lounge, which offers a private yet spacious dinner venue. In case you havent heard, the King of Grill BBQ Buffet has been very popular the past few years, and this year, The Pearl Hotel decided to bring them back! YAY! So if you missed out on their buffet dinner, this is your chance to indulge in an Unlimited dished of their star dishes offering fresh shucked oysters, baked cheese oysters, marinated lamb shoulder, and so much more!

We were seated in a private corner since we had two kids with us and i guess the highlight upon entering the restaurant would be the dinner table! I was actually star-struck by the presentation and honestly tempted to start my dinning experience with dessert followed by the main course! Of course that didnt happen cause i was definitely there for the fresh oysters and bbq experience! To introudce to you on what you can expect on the bbq array, they have marinated lamb, chicken chop, mini beef steak, squids, prawns, mussels, assorted skewers for you to choose from. Since every thing sounds amazing, i just had to try ALL of them. Personally everything was really well cooked by their in-house chef, but i recommend you to keep an eye on their lamb and prawns that really won my heart.

Other than the bbq section, they also offer 50 types of delicacies to choose from, namely braised chicken with black fungus, pakchoi, taufu with oysters sauce, steam seabass with ginger and cili padi, Kong poh green mussel and more! They even had fried rice and Hokkien noodles too just to provide charbohydrate options for dinners. Overall, i would say that they have a decent selection offering different types of meat to choose from.

Jumping into some highlight dinners of the night,  they had roaster duck on the table, some fresh kebab meat, and not to forget the variety of fresh oysters! Being a fan of oysters, i would say that having a meal here with their oysters are definitely a highlight cause it can be considered as a buffet with unlimited oysters! How can anyone say no to that! I didnt get to catch a photo of their grilled cheese oysters cause each time they replenish it, it goes empty within seconds! So if youre looking to indluge in some seriouslt good food, i suggest you make your way there early.

And last but not least, how can we forget about the dessert table? Diving into dessert, i would say that any sweet tooth would love the selections that they have to offer! I gotta admit that the chef has outdone himself by presenting these amazing-looking treats to end the meal with. I guess if you're looking for something very gastronomic, go for the ones that look rather unique when it comes to appearance. It's almost like enjoying fine dining dessert and i had a bite of each of it, one word, spectacular!

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, they are also offering FREE Yee Sang into the buffet menu. So if you'd like to have a corporate dinner or family dinner, I would say that The Pearl Hotel's The King Of Grills BBQ Buffet Dinner would fit the bill. From a variety of selections, appetizers, mains, desserts, and even light bites for the kids, they've got it covered. Lucky enough, they had carbonara, nuggets, and potato wedges for my two-year-old to enjoy, and I was so surprised that she had an appetite to dig in. So what are you waiting for? Be sure to make reservations to avoid disappointments. Keep in mind that the buffet will only run on certain dates in January and Febuary, so plan your visit ahead.
