[REVIEW] GGONG JI Hair Pack // Kocostar

Dont you hate dry frizzy hair?
Don't you hate bad hair days and split ends? From what i know, usually bad hair days are caused due to lack of nutrition for your hair, and that's why I'll be talking about the GGONG JI Hair Pack that I got from Althea.kr recently. The GGONG JI Hair pack has been specially designed to solve split ends and damaged hair, and its perfect timing cause my hair is extremely damaged for being too exposed to the sun here in KL. (Plus, im being guilty for not being a fan of conditioner) lol. So lets find out on how good it is!

The Packaging

I have to say that i love how it comes in a hot pink packaging. On the front packaging, it states that  Ggongji means ponytail in Korean, and that its a simple & easy DIY hair care. And if you flip it over, you'll basically see just more korean words at the back. So, if you can read Korean, congratulations! But if you cant, then i guess you can just follow my step by step tutorial here.

What is inside

Whats inside?
The mask and a pink rubber band
So, whats inside? It has 1 hair mask and a pink rubber band for you to tie your hair up! With reference to the image on the front packaging, i think its pretty straight forward to know on how to use this. Right? RIGHT?! hehe. But if you're still confused, FRET NOT! Cause there will be a how to use it guideline below.

How To Use

Flip mask inside out
Grab your pony tail
Flip the mask over using the other hand
And tie it with the pink rubber band given
To use it is actually pretty simple. You can either slide your hair in, or do what i did! I decided to flip it inside out first to make it easier for me to grab hold of my hair. Next would be to grab your hair, flip the mask over using the other hand. And once you hair is all in, tie it in a pony tail with the pink rubber band. And wallah! A pony tail mask.

Decorate

Adding a ribbon to make it look more presentable
Or tie it up in a bun! (no one would know that youre wearing a mask)
Please note that the treatment time would take at least 30 minutes, but if youre looking for intense care, it would be recommended to use this for about 2 to 3 hours for best results. Personally, i think you can pull it off, if you decide to walk around with the mask on attached to your hair. So since i had to go out for grocery shopping, here are my 'attemps' of making my mask look more unnoticable. You can either get a giant ribbon clip and clip your hair, or tie it up in a bun! What do you think?

After 3 hours

After 3 hours
And the results?
And after 3 hours with the mask attached to my hair, here are the results! I was thinking that the treatment would get my hair all wet and moist, but surprisingly, when i removed the mak, it felt like i had leave-on conditioner on my hair. Which means, you dont need to shower after the treatment. I think you can pretty much tell on how moisturizing it is right? And i'll honestly say that i was amazed on how soft my hair felt after removing the mask.

Results

Before: Dry with split ends
After: Smooth soft shiny hair!
Can you believe what youre seeing?! I know, it took me a while to believe that a 3 hour treatment mask would do so much good for my hair. At only RM13 per pack, it beats paying hundreds at salons to get my hair to look soft and smooth. Will i repurchase? YES! My next pack of GGONG JI Hair Pack from Althea.kr is already on its way! hehe. So if youre tempted to get yourself a pack, you can always get it from Althea.kr or by hovering here to the direct link. I absolutely LOVE this hair mask despite it being my first hair mask! Please do leave a comment below if you have any questions.
