[Buffet Ramadhan] Restoran Rebung 2019

Ramadhan Buffet at Restoran Rebung
With the fasting season being just around the corner, its time to start hunting for good places to break our fast together with friends and family. This post goes to those who LOVE the traditional Malay cuisine, and who else cooks better Malay cuisine none other than Chef Ismail himself? Hehe. Rebung has always been my go-to place when I crave for his specialties that can be so hard to find around the city nowadays, and it's now even better since Rebung will also be joining in the Ramadhan Buffet festive season.

Chef Ismail presenting his specialties for the day
Giving you a Kelantanese vibe of Ulam
Terung rendang for eggplant lovers
Paru Paru sambal for those who love to chew on this
Murtabak Ayam
Freshly made popiah
Rendang and pulut kuning that would definitely fill your stomach with love
There are so many reasons to list down on why you should consider Restoran Rebung by Chef Ismail this year. Rebung should be your chosen restaurant to dine in to break your fast because they offer over 90 types of main dishes that would certainly dive into any taste that you and your guest would be craving for. Offering options from appetizers to desserts, you'd be spoiled with choices on what to indulge in first. Also, what's even better is that you can have a buffet spread at less than RM100 per person!

For starters, the main dishes that are to die for would be his 'Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api, 'Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak' and 'Pari Masak Asam Pedas'. But if youre not into the specialties, there are also other options to choose from such as laksam, bubur lambuk, nasi kerabu, char kuey teow, laksa, murtabak and more! I would list everything here if I could, but you'd definitely need to come here to see it for yourself. I can guarantee that there is always something from Rebung that would trigger you with memories of being at your hometown.

Got myself a whole plate of the things that I love to wash down the main dishes I've tasted today
Local Malaysian delicacies
Serawa durian, Bubur Cha-cha, and Pengat Pisang.
And last but not least would be the selection of desserts! I mean, how can you end your meal without desserts right? When enjoying desserts in Restoran Rebung, you will be spoiled with the traditional Malay desserts that are carefully handmade with love. The rare ones are usually the desserts such as Serawa Durian, Bubur Cha-cha and Pengat Pisang which is usually pretty hard to make on your own at home. Alternatively, there is also the 'kuih-muih' section to spoil you with your childhood favorites!

SPECIAL PERFORMANCES

Also, be entertained with some live music that would surely make you feel like dancing.
Exclusively prepared for the festive season, Restoran Rebung will be also be having live performances with the Sound of Ghazal by the Ghazal Sri Nuansa band. Specially picked by the organizers and trust me, nothing beats enjoying delicious food with the sound of live music to brighten up any occasion, be it a gathering of friends, a special birthday celebration and even for corporate companies to enjoy the vibes of this festive. For those who dare, you'd be lucky to find an open space in the restaurant where you can put on your dancing shoes and start dancing away.

RAMADHAN BUFFET PRICING FOR 2019

Mandatory photo together after dining and evaluating the food. 5/5!
Now for the real deal. I think most of us as Muslims would like to keep a budget of below RM100 per person when it comes to group gatherings right? So good news! To enjoy the Ramadhan buffet at Restoran Rebung, the price would be RM84.80 net per adult, and RM53 net for children between 5 to 11 years old. Too good to be true, its time to make your reservations early to avoid any disappointments. The duration of the Ramadhan buffet would start from 6th May 2019 till 3rd June 2019.
